Sei trotted down the path of the Broonze Woods, driven by it's bronze and golden leaves. He stalked the trees, lurking in empty corners, and stayed silent as not to alert prey of his presence. He walked idily by, ignoring the chatter near the city gates as he passed. He started to jog, leaning into his hunting position. He continued to slink the path until a nearby boar caught his attention. He stopped jogging and stared at the boar.
Sei trotted nearby, careful to avoind twigs that could snap and alert his prey. He started to jog again, and slipped neatly into a sprint. As he closed the distance he lost sight of the boar, it had most likely started up the path. He liked the feel of the wind in his fur, lurking along the path behind the boar. He stalked it quietly, awaiting a stop.
Sei watched as the boar dipped it's head and lifted to smell the air. It grazed a bit and moved on, as he continued his pursuit. He inched closer and closer, flowing with the boars movements and found it's patterns. He knew th e boar could smell him, but it couldn't see him, for although he was trailing behind it, he stayed in the trees. The constant thump of him jumping from branch to branch was starting to frighten the boar.
Sei let out a low, gutteral growl that would alert the boar, but give it that far away feel. Instead the boar was more frightened and took off running. It stampeded away, confused on why it was running, but driven by it's insticts. He inspected the the branches before plopping onto them, and managed to get to the ground. He jogged at a low pace, sniffing the air to locate the boar.
North, a few meters away. Sei thought with a sniff. He sprinted north, keeping a steady breathing rate, and watched as his surroundings blurred before his eyes. The tree's turned into brown, bronze and golden blurs, as he went full speed after the boar. He knew if the boar got to far awy, he'd lose it, so he had to get to it before it was to late. He caught up to the boar, and slowed to a walk, flicking his eyes over the boar. Showtime..
