At 5‘8“ Adair Askara isn‘t particularly tall. He isn’t muscular, but slender, and his hands are soft instead of rough. Adair is physically fit though, more or less (often less as he enjoys alcohol and the occasional dose of drugs). He doesn’t have a lot of body hair and shaves what little he has as he doesn’t find hairy men particularly aesthetically pleasing. He prefers to cover his body with complicated tattoos instead. His skin is pale. His hair is dark blonde, slightly wavy and falls to below his shoulders while his eyes are a luminous shade of blue. He has full lips and a pleasant voice. The clothes he wears often leave something to be desired though. While he knows very well what is currently fashionable and which clothes are appropriate in which situation, he often dresses in a very eccentric manner instead.
Character Concept
Adair Askara is a man of equal opportunities. He loves men, women and everything in between and doesn’t care about social norms. He will often behave in a strange and unexpected manner. At a ball where everybody is wearing suits and gowns, he might show up half naked and painted and do some strange, exotic dance. He might also put on makeup, wear a precious gown and play the part of a lady. When meeting with outsiders who are not familiar with the traditions of House Askara, he might have a man accompagny him and kiss him and touch him in front of those conservative strangers. Or he might try to fake an accent, put on some terribly boring clothes and pretend to be an outsider himself.
Adair Askara is a hedonist. He loves fine wine, food, expensive clothes and luxury. He wants to have fun. He loves to sing and dance and make music. Sometimes he will speak in rhymes just because he feels like it. He enjoys shocking people and being totally inapproriate, but sometimes his strange and erratic behaviour is just a mask. People take him for a fool, a rich fool, but a fool nevertheless and mostly harmless, and that allows him to observe them in a way that would not be possible if he were a perfectly sane, boring businessman that looks as if he’s swallowed a stick and has no idea what the meaning of fun is.
Adair Askara doesn’t only love to shock people, he also loves manipulating them and prying all their deep, dark and dirty secrets from them so that he can use them to his advantage and bribe people. Of course he has a few deep, dark and dirty secrets himself. What fun would life be if you didn’t have anything to hide and were always perfectly honest?
