As Ball is getting closer and closer to maxing out Pyken as a skill, I would like to request that in places where Ball is not doing enough to constitute Pyken XP if Pyken technique lores could be issued instead.

Examples of proper XP level for Pyken would be: Ball developing or refining his technique by adding new thing against an actual moving target, not a dummy.

The use of basic skills alone are not enough to accomplish XP at Ball's current level of Pyken.

Thank you.

.
I Hate First World Problems
Have you not encountered these? They are ridiculous.

So very very recently I had a friend bail on me, ditch the friendship completely, because I asked her to stop being a poster child for first world problems after being inundated with her problems and her emotions over and over and over again until I was absolutely wholeheartedly no longer sympathetic to issues she could have fixed on her own with very little effort. You know the kind of solutions I mean - get a job, get a new hobby, stop seeing the glass half empty ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

What do I mean by first world problems? You know... these endless strings of poor me, my poor life, pity this, pity that, OMG its so unfair.

I'll tell you what's unfair. Being born in a country that has a GDP of less than 1% of the US's. Not being allowed to go to school or say maybe even live or have any civil rights because your sex is female or your sexual orientation begins with the word homo. No fresh drinking water? That is a problem. Not having the cash to pay your cell phone bill? No, not so much. If you are worried about being too fat because you don't look like societies idea of 'beautiful' then this is not so much a problem as is NOT having enough food to eat on a daily basis. We have people in this country that are STARVING today right now and can't feed their children, themselves, or have been out of work so long that they can't pay the utilities off.

You overpaid for a bad acrylic nail job? No. This isn't a problem. This is a stupidity. Someone is hating on you by giving you dirty looks or excluding you socially - no this isn't a problem. Mind your own business, because theirs obviously isn't yours. If someone is trying to kill you because you have resources or a faith they don't approve of? Yes, this is a problem.

It's all about perspective. I'm so tired... so very tired... of people not having the right perspective, in my mind, about things. Is my horse looking terrible at 34? Hell no, she's living and breathing 14 years after most life expectancies of most horses. Congrats her on being a beautiful old lady, and don't tell her she has bony hips and knobby knees. You'd look less fantastic than she does at say 114 if you were over your life expectancy too. I guarantee it. She still manages a few strides of gallop and a couple of cow hops that in her mind are huge bucks for joy when turned out in the morning. Deal. She's happy. You should be too.

We won't let you play albino twin half zith with wings or say a nuit that is 3000 years old? Get over yourself. It is what it is. Fantasy realism is a big sell to us and we are apt to say yes yes yes if its something that could be realistic. I have to admit that recently I've been dragging my ass on here, looking at PMs, looking at the HD, and just wanting to weep because there are things in life that are important and things in life (like your unrealistic wishes in a fantasy character - no you can't start with three gnosis marks from three different gods) that aren't. And I've been attending to the more important things recently like going for long walks, rides, and reading a ton of new books. I've been working ALL the time and that job has no relative issues in comparison as to how bad it can be.

I just... want people to start appreciating things again. Mizahar is here. It's amazing. Why do you always want to 'fix' everything? Why does anything need IMPROVED? So we don't fit your view of a site? Fine. Dandy. Go play someplace that does suit you better. Don't mind our rules and our styles? Then welcome aboard! It's just that easy. But please, keep your mental issues at home... keep your bullshit in perspective.

I agree with the bulk idea of what you said. People irk me about petty issues that could be fixed with ease, some things are a bit harder to manage. I am one of those people struggling to make ends meet. My wife and I both have jobs but just not enough there to make things happen the way they ought to. It's life, we are dealing with it slowly and effectively -- well as best as we can currently.

But I do appreciate seeing someone post what I think all of us feel at some point in our daily lives.

Thank you for that refresher on life. ^.^ I sincerely mean that.

(I do really wish there was a way to immediately deny or accept certain types of tickets from the HD for you guys. That has to be a nightmare to handle)
