Timestamp: 60th of Autumn, 513AV, 16th bell "Oh come on now, hold still you little ball of fur!" Zisien laughed as she attempted to hold her new squiggling puppy in her arms. The polar bear had only purchased her about an hour ago for relatively cheap from a girl in the Menagerie. Thinking back, Zisien should have probably gotten her name and ask her to let her know when she had another batch of puppies. In her haste and excitement just picked out a puppy, paid her, then left for the marketplace. The kelvic definitely was going to have her hands full for the next couple of weeks because it seems she picked the most energetic puppy in the world. Setting the feisty little ball of fur down in the snow, Zisien sat down next to her and let it gnaw on her finger. Its teeth couldn't do much damage with the way she held it out but still managed to hurt some. The female puppy looked to have been well socialized with humans but still held a strong dominate streak which was obvious with its loud and quick yelps at Zisien. Something the kelvic would have to break if she hoped to train the pup at all, but right now she wanted to bond some. Zisien hardly wanted to admit it but she was staring to get lonely and disappointed in herself that she hasn't bonded yet. Yes given she had a year to do so but Zisien already been in the Icewatch for 3 months with no luck thus far. She had to be patient but it was starting to take its toll on her. The polar bear was snapped out of her thoughts by a strange yodel sound. Kalean spice coats are known to do a yodel of sorts instead of a howl. "Haha you freezing your little butt off too eh?" Zisien said while lifting the puppy up again."Come on lets go, was going to head to market but I want you to see your new home first." Zisien changed direction and started heading to the barracks instead."Lets see I still need to give you a name, introduce you to my polar form and then figure out what to do with your little mischievous butt while I'm on duty." The polar bear rambled not expecting the puppy to be listening. The kelvic decided getting the little female use to her dire polar form was top priority on that small list. Once they reached the barracks, Zisien set the puppy down once again and started to strip out of her clothes and her torc. The ball of red fur paid Zisien no mind at first, finding her pile of clothes much more fascinating and her torc a excellent chewing toy. Here goes nothing. Since she was going to be monstrous to the puppy she stepped back some before shifting. The unexpected puppy was still tossing about in the pile of clothes and playing with her necklace. Zisien slowly crept forward and laid down on her stomach so her nose was mere inches from the pile, and waited. This method was probably no better but it was the only other option Zisien could think of making herself not seem so.. Big. The silver hair kelvic waited patiently for the puppy to notice her and hoping she would soon since she was kinda blocking the entrance to the barracks. Anyone trying to come out would run dead smack into her bum and anyone trying to get in would find the sight odd that a polar bear was staring down a pile of clothes. The red ball of fur finally came out of the pile of clothes wondering why it was so quiet and came face to face with Zisien. The puppy just stared at her, not sure what to make of the giant white hill of fur with eyes. Well at least she didn't run off scared. Zisien thought to herself. Now to make the connection. Zisien slowly rose up to her feet, looming over the puppy. The puppy began to bark at the polar bear, hackles raised and little teeth bared. Zisien shifted back to her human form and the puppy stopped its barking, looking utterly confused what just happened. Its head cocked to the side in question and Zisien giggled at the spice coat's cuteness. |
