Plotting Ideas - Character Progression
Character DiamondAMIABLE - Elva is easy to talk to. When she is comfortable with her audience she is very friendly and willing to share stories or talk about her artwork.
COMPETITIVE - She cannot resist an open challenge or what she interprets as one. Her dedication to charcoal as a medium was born when a fellow student declared it inferior to painting because it cannot capture color. This need to be better than those around stems from her...
INSECURITY - Elva is unsure of herself and has a desperate need for approval and recognition among her peers. Without her grandmother serving as a support system she is unsure of how to deal with her own problems. She can be jealous and judgmental in an effort to build herself up.
SELF-CRITICAL - Elva over thinks her actions and words in an effort to impress. Her internal dialogue can be biting and sarcastic or her outward actions can be awkward or stiff. Social interaction that follows specific rules, like a greeting, appear very rehearsed.
No specific order:
- Come to terms with grandmother's death (Flashback Series)
- Develop a close relationship (may or may not be romantic)
- Suffer severe "art block", branch out into other skills
- Visit at least 3 other cities around Mizahar, hopefully with travel partners
- Discover a personal magic?? Safe or dangerous?? (depends how much I want to ruin this girl + future interaction)
