Time. That's all that he was short of. As the bear dragged his pack into the cavern and threw it within he turned around quickly, feet pounded urgently on the stone floor as he made his way out. He had to keep his eyes in a squint just to be able to keep in focus, the world just barely in a blur all around as he tried to maintain his formal vision. He was another year older now. With age came growth until finally the body would begin to breakdown, though the bear had quite a number of years ahead of him, that still didn't prevent the change in his mind and body from occuring. He stubbed his left foot on a rump in the stone floor and bellowed out, anguish in his expression as he grinded his teeth and went to take a seat. He kept steady breaths as he brought his foot close for inspection, no blood so far just a really red and really sore foot by the looks of it. He cursed as he released the limb from his grasp, a sigh as he looked up to the ceiling escaped as his feelings sunk in.

"That time of the year..." He had a full season left, and now that he found a wonderful cave to hide his things in, he was ready to begin the preparation. Winter approaches and with it another season full of sleep, which meant... he had to eat. A lot. As much food as he could have to build enough fat for the cold, while he slept the Winter away the rest of the year. Things however required time and time was something that slipped away, he was running short of it all. Everything. His desire to find a close attachment, his curiosity for all the food in the world, all of it would one day be gone and he didn't want that. Not now not ever. It scared him enough as it was, the fact time never stopped made the idea all the more petrifying. Yet the very sounds that filled his ears were the sounds he never expected, footsteps that shuffled in pairs made their way up to the cavern. Footsteps that belonged to two humans who had terrible intentions for people like our ignorant bear.

The footsteps grew louder until finally they were at the entrance to his cave and from what the bear could tell these were two men with weapons at their side. Men that were outfitted head to toe in travel gear that looked to be for hunters and the like, and with scarred faces to show they'd been through many ordeals. Artur could only look at them quietly as he felt something in his gut roll, a nonpresent threat that silently existed came to mind as he watched them carefully with big brown eyes. "What'd y' think?" One muttered to the other with a grin, the one who was to repsond stroke his beard before saying anything.

"He's pretty big, should fetch for a pretty coin." He mused with a hand brought to his waist, a pouch opened to dig out an object that rested inside. "Now the question is what's he got."

Artur stood and backed away cautiously, scared of what it is they had planned. "Who are these guys? What do they want?" As he backed away in fear the two crept closer like wolves, their eyes on the prey before them as Artur helplessly walked back into the wall of the cavern. He was cornered now, no way to get out. The only thing that could save him now is intimidation, and he hoped he could pull a successful one off and escape out of here alive. "Stay back!" He pointed to them when he commanded this, a halt in their steps followed as they both looked intrigued. "I-I warn you! Come any closer and I'll tear you to pieces!" He threatened defensively with his hands already at his shirt, the men were entertained with him as they only chuckled.

"Hear that? He'll tear us t' pieces he says." One mocked while the other drew a large sword from his belt, the end pointed to Artur as the bear retreated back.

"That kinda talk can only mean one thing, get the collar ready!" He ordered as he drew closer to Artur, the swords point already at the bears chest as he planted himself firmly against the wall.

"Collar? By Oriana what do you want?!" Artur's heart practically lept out of his chest, a lump formed in his throat as he struggled to swallow, and only gulps came as he fought hard to keep himself from panicking so suddenly. "Y-you guys want money right?! I have money, its yours if you leave! Take all of it! Keep it!" He pleaded out of desperation with hope that the sound of money would entice them, but only saw the sword weilding man bring his blade down and away from the bear, whilst a fist flew in the direction of Artur's face. Then lights went out ans everything turned black, and Artur slid to his bottom against the wall as he fell unconcious before them...

Pain. Throb. Headache. Artur's mind slowly recollected what happened as he stirred with groans, he was on his back with hands clutched over his head. His right eye twinged and radiated with pain as all his head pulsated with major aches, his throat struggled to allow the saliva he would swallow to travel down as something contricted around his neck. The stench of leather and smoke filled his nose as he groaned in pain, tears formed in the recesses of his eyelids as they built into a stream. As he moved his hands out of his sight he could see not two, not four, but six men who worked quickly to pack up their things. Not just theirs but what was Artur's as well, his belongings which consisted of his travel sack and two frying pans mainly. His satchel that held all his coin rested within his bag but he doubted that was the case anymore, that and anything else he once owned now belonged to the men around him. "Hurry up and get this shyke packed! We're movin' out while we got somethin' good, don't need the knights pokin' around." One of the men ordered with a hoarse voice, Artur was then pulled up to his feet by two of the men as they grunted, the bear did little to help or fight their cause now.

They no doubt dragged him out of that cave because his head, his neck, and worst of all his back hurt a lot. He felt nothing but pain inside and out. He was on his feet with hands brought together and a rope wound around his wrists, and that rope lead up to what he could see was a horse. From his experience in Syliras he knew horses to be the way their people got around, and these men planned to ride them with Artur bound and pulled. He wasn't alone though, there was two others in rags like him that appeared human. Well one was completely human anyway, the other however was a woman he'd never seen before. She had scales on her body, mainly her arms and legs, with a pale complexion and bright sand colored hair. Both were bound just as he was with solemn looks on their faces, their fates accepted long before Artur came.along. The bear of course had a broken spirit now, so he too fell quick to accept the fact he was captured.

With no possible way to set himself free he too adopted a look of sorrow that quickly settled.in, the men all finished packing and readied themselves for where ever they were bound. After all six men were on horses and they started to move the other slaves were pulled before him, until finally the slaver's horse that Artur was bound too followed in line with a strong tug on the bears arms. He staggered forward but managed to remain on his feet as he followed along, already aware of the fact that resisting their authority would do little. He had no choice but to listen and follow where this men were taking him, but only until he found the chance to get away from them. For now though, and only for now, he would give in and let himself be taken...

Notes :
I thought Artur was in bear form until I realized the brown text were "human" form talk. The first post didn't help as you keep describing him as "the bear". :retard:

Artur, I recommend putting a legend to your language color codes below your signature. :)

I hope he would be alright...
