Sei chewed his lip, and stepped into the fighter pit with a furrowed brow. He was never a good teacher, and Roderick had labelled him a drill sergeant. He tried to be less intimidating, but it usually never worked. He pondered this, and ran his fingers through his hair. He looked around, and found a nice place to sit. He sat in the dirt directly under the suns rays. The heat felt good on his back, especially since today was cool, and every breeze sent shivers down his spine.
He was still thinking about yesterday. A boy, Rhys, had come to him to learn. At first, he had thought Rhys was joking, and when Rhys never laughed, Sei thought the boy was nuts. No one except the challengers at the pit had ever asked to learn anything from him, mainly because he had second to no teaching experience. He had agreed, but he was having more doubt that he had agreed. He had to try now that he was here, however, so he buckled down and focused.
He sat there, immersed in his thoughts, and tried to think of an easy way to teach the man. Accroding to what he remembered, Rhys wanted to learn four things, and Sei had had no problem with agreeing before he could think. He would teach him the basic stances for combat and brawling, and hopefully the rest would be easy. He would show him basic tactics, and the best ways to intimidate those around him.
Sei couldn't wait to get this over with.
