AppearanceRace: Symenestra
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Birthday: 18th Spring, 490AV
Birthplace: Kalinor
Appearance: Viridae Kabre, stands at Six foot two and weighs a hundred and fifty pounds. He is slender and muscular, with near shoulder length silver hair that is worn down, with the exception of the bangs, which are occasionally braided to wrap around the left side of the head in the fashion of a crown, in order to prevent them from falling into his face while hunting. His eyes are an intense shade of deep azure, and his brows are thin and elegantly curved. His lips a soft shade of peach to subtly contrast his near parchment pale skin. His claws are kept medium length, but are still filed to a point, in order to prevent from slicing bowstrings.
Viridae has two sets of armor he commonly wears. In the summer, fall, and spring months, he wears a Night leather Chest plate, shoulder guards, forearm guards, and thigh and calve plates, lightweight and sleek, woven with spider silk that glints faintly in the sunlight with a wolf skull functioning as a right shoulder guard, and a hood lined with wolf's teeth. The armor is accented by a midnight blue silk scarf and sash. Viridae commonly does not wear shoes.
In the winter, he wears a set of pale tan, almost white armor, with a hood lined with wolf fur and a dark red scarf and sash. When outside of the city, he wears silk wraps around his feet for minor protection from the cold.
While in Kalinor not working or preparing for work, he wears black leather pants, a dark blue hodded silk shirt, and a long leather hunting jacket, usually worn open, with three steel buckles on the chest, and a long collar. The hood of his shirt is sometimes up, he wears a scarf in the winter, and is usually barefoot.
He also carries a sturdy and elegantly crafted short bow, composed of blackwood with silver plating on either side, and bearing a thick string of woven silk and hemp. Accompanying the bow sits a quiver, made from simple black leather, and fastened to his back with a thin leather strap.
Character Concept Viri is a hunter of rare and exotic animals, often targeting exceptionally large beasts, and beasts of rare coloring or dwindling population. Much of his time is spent tracking the rare beasts in the wild. After making a kill, he tends to sell off the pelt, ivory, and any other valuable parts of the animal, in Kalinor.
Viri Is very independent, and his social skills are fair enough for him to interact with other people, but he tends not to get too close to them. Though his family was large in his younger years, Viri has grown accustomed to relying upon himself for almost everything, and rarely socializes with others, up until recently as he may need companions for extended hunting excursions. His independence could be easily counted as a weakness rather than a strength however, for he tends to put himself into risky situations in the wild and often times would not have been in such a tough spot if he was not alone.
Character History Viridae is the second son of Dimidae Kabre and Neisesi Kabre. His siblings are Demeril Kabre, his twenty six year old brother, and Seivis Kabre, his nineteen year old sister. After luring a Surrogate for his wife in order to birth Demeril, Dimidae felt like a monster. He did not feel an innocent person should have to die in order to create new life. He vowed not to participate in another harvest, and instead impregnated his wife Neisesi. Neisesi, against all odds, gave Pre-mature birth to a son, whom they named Viridae, after his father. Several years later, Neisesi could feel she would soon not be able to give birth to anymore children, and gave her life to Seivis as a gift. Dimidae easily accepted his wife's fate and continued to raise Demeril and Viridae to hunt rare game. He taught them to Track, Trap, Survive in the wild, and patiently await the correct moment to strike, and left Seivis to study Dance with her aunt. In the spring of 510AV, His father and brother announced that they where leaving Kalinor to hunt game in distant lands. They vowed to return eventually, when Viridae was ready, and teach him all they had learned in the distant lands. Three years had passed, and Viridae was still the only inhabitant of the household, since Seivis had moved out a year before they left. Viridae continues to hunt and track beasts, so as to perfect the art, and someday leave home in order to track a rare piece of Mizahar for himself.
Growing up as a member of the Kabre web was far more difficult for Viridae than any of his other siblings. Their family used to be very involved in the community, and frequently attended festivals and private parties, exchanging gossip with other webs and making ambitious plans for the future. Dimidae's decision not to participate in the harvest was a well kept secret, as he had opted to leave on hunting excursions instead. It wasn't until halfway through his mother's pregnancy that friend's of the web began to take notice. Neisesi was called foolish and self destructive, and many other things where said about the near single mother. Viri's birth marked the beginning of the Kabre's drift from social power. On the other hand, Viri's aunt and younger sister where regarded very highly. Seivis is strikingly beautiful, and a naturally graceful dancer, both qualities commonly attributed to her being "Pure of Blood and Character." Viri was home schooled most of his life and only had minimal social interaction with people outside of his web. These social interactions became more frequent as he aged and had to sell off his wares on his own.
Around the age of twenty, Viridae had a near death experience that altered his entire life. Years of building mental barriers to suppress his nagging loneliness and longing to travel seemed to tumble down upon meeting a stranger in the woods and receiving a kiss he cannot seem to forget. Although Viridae has never been quite sure if the occurrence actually took place, to him its real, and that's all that counts. He gained a newfound sense of spirituality and closeness with Mizahar as a whole, and can no longer bear to remain beneath the surface for more than a few days.

HousingLocation: Kalinor
House: The Kabre web's household is a pear shaped spire dangling from the ceiling and draped with bright red fabric. The center of the room is consumed by a 5x5 circular pool of water, fed by the aqueduct and filled through a groove that runs in a downward spiral along the entire room from the ceiling to the floor. Skulls from the past hunts of the entire family are displayed on cut in shelves and the only separation existing in the room is a curtain that can be dropped over the circular pool for bathing. The home is roughly 20x20 in size, pear shaped, and includes a hearth, hammock, chest, chair, and small table.
