Ilax Silverkin Appearance Race: Akalak Gender: Male Age: 33 Birthday: 38, Fall, 480 AV Birthplace: Riverfall Appearance: Tall 6’ 9”ish with broad shoulders and a muscular build, shocking blue eyes and a full head of black hair and midnight blue skin, weighing 260 pounds, Ilax has four jagged scars that run down his cheek from his Rite of Passage Character Concept Ilax strives to impress his father with everything he does which affects his judgement, he has decided he wants to explore the world outside of Riverfall. Ilax is a kind and sensitive person and is the soul that you will see the most whereas Lothar (Ilax's dark soul) Is more violent and unempathetic, Ilax has managed to gain a good balance between the two souls in his body. Ilax has decided to travel to gain new fighting techniques and improve what he already knows after he has earned some money for food and travel. Character History As a mischeavous youngling Ilax took to being a light fingered crook in the town market taking a few coins from the bulging pouches of the busy shoppers. As he grew up he liked watching his father train with his Lakan and the martial arts he did and he wanted to try this, his father supported this and offered Ilax one of his old short swords for his training and supported him the whole way and Ilax wanted to impress his father. Ilax went to town the next day to find a mentor to teach him to fight Under the guidance of Hetgor Nebelbeck. He was top of his class as a fighter as he grew up and took to liking the Lakan over all other weapons as this weapon seemed like an extension of his own hand and flowed easily in his grasp, after he graduated Ilax trained hard everyday wanting to be the best at what he did. At 15 Ilax was grouped with 4 other boys to find and kill a glassbeak, the boys searched for two days before they came upon a pack of the foul beasts the boys readied there weapons and charged out to meet the glassbeaks head on whilst Ilax and another boy crept round to flank them, after Ilax stepped from the bushes with the other boy he saw the devastation of the battle he was frozen in shock but when one of the glassbeaks charged at him he shook away his fear and drew his sword readying himself for the battle, after the battle was over and the glassbeaks lay dead around them only 4 of the 5 boys remained standing. At around age 22 Ilax's other soul emerged in a violent manner during which Ilax almost severely harmed one of the other Akalak children and since then he has been learning to control both his souls and find a balance between them. As Ilax neared the age of 30 he made his Lakan an honourble weapon used only by the Akalak and trained hard to prepare himself for his rite of passage. When the day finally arrived Ilax left his home of Riverfall in search of one of the feared Zith with the intention to kill he knew, he would not be able to sneak up on the Zith because of their enhanced hearing so he planned to draw one out by using himself as bait, his plan was a simple one or so he thought, Ilax failed to think about the Zith's speed and so when he did finally find one he and the zith battled for two days until finally he managed to slay the zith during this battle Ilax got a scar down his cheek where four of the Zith's claws had bitten deep into his skin.
