Sei ran with all his might. His boots thumped against the compact dirt of the bronze Woods. He ran past the trees, and smiled as the trees seemed to blur past him. He continued to run, gradually getting faster as more adrenaline pumped through his legs. He hopped over a fallen tree trunk, and bolted through the woods. He tore past the trees so fast the leaves shook, but he wasn't paying attention. All he knew was he had to run. He zipped past the trees, and listened to the thuds and thumps of his boots, and the uneven pound of his heart against his rib cage. He was pulling air into his lungs wildly now, and they burned, but he kept his pace.

He had to endure the burn.

He was close to having his heart explode, but he could hear 'them' behind him, the angry words and strings he was receiving was more than enough to kill a planet, but if he stopped it was over, so he ran until his lwgs felt like jello and ran some more. He was downing air like ale, and couldn't help but stop for a second to rest after veering into a cluster of trees. He doubled over, his breathing heavier than a Jamoura, and waited until the air was back in his lungs. Every breath burnef his lungs, and his heart was beating like a drum. He could feel his ears sting, which was caused ny the constant beating of his heart.

Maybe he had gone to far, and the joke wasn't a good one. He had been at the heralds arms, and had put a play worm in his bowl, and had yelled that they were trying to kill there customers. They were buying it until he couldn't help but laugh and tell them it was his joke. One of the bartenders hand wacked him with a pot, and he was still light-headed from the blow. They had chased him this far, and were trying to catch him and make him pay for making their customers pile out the door in a hurry. He rubbed his head, and could tell their would be a bump in the morning, but he didn't care.

As he replayed the events, he couldn't help but laugh out loud, where the bartenders could here him. He heard them head towards him, and let out a string of swears for being so stupid before taking off again. He bursted through a bush, not having enough time to climb over it, and endured the pain as the tiny branches within poked him. He sent a silent prayer to Ionu. Thank you so much for giving me the idea for the best prank in the world. He said with a smirk. He could hear the angry shouts closing in on him, and tried his best to block them out.

"You devilish bastard! How dare you scare off our customers!" A man yelled.
"Bastard? Me? Have you no shame?! Worms should be boiled not fried chef!" He called back with a laugh, earning him a round of swears he dare not repeat. He was out of breath once again, and his lungs burned as he continued to work his legs. He began to slow, and every time he looked back, the bartenders seemed closer. He veered off to the right, and pressed himself against a tree. He only had his quiver and arrows, and they weren't of any use. He did have a dagger, but it wasn't any use either. Shyke.. Well isn't that lovely.. He thought to himself.

He looked at the trees around him, and scaled the tree he was pressed against. He clung to the trunk, and felt the sting of his finger tips as he climbed higher into the tree. Latching one hand onto a branch. He struggled to heft himself onto the branch. When he had finally made it to his perch, he stood shakily, and drew back the bowstring of his longbow with an arrow. He launched it so it would zip past one of the 'tenders faces, but it landed inches away from their stomach, and wedged itself into the ground between his feet. "If you don't want to die I suggest you move on!" He hissed harshly. The man backed away from the arrow, and they took off running, intimidated by Sei, and headed for the gates.

Slumping down onto the branch, he breathed a sigh of relief, and climbed down from the tree. He walked over to the arrow, and put it back in his quiver. He might as well go hunting while he was here. He sighed and went deeper into the woods.
