Timestamp: Late afternoon, 68th of Autumn 513AV
The billowing curtains of the spa tent mark a place of serenity, set slightly apart from the main stretch of stalls. Shoes are either left at the door, or carried in hand, a boon to those women who had taken uncomfortable shoes for the sake of fashion. Many choose to take the complementary robes instead of relaxing in their day fashion, though it's not required.
The main area of the tent is for manicures and pedicures, with a row of comfortable chairs in front of basins at their respective heights. Nail paints of all colors of the spectrum are available, and a patron may choose to take home a small bottle of their choice for a fee. Outside the tent, a few chairs are set up towards the sun, to better get a last-minute healthy glow to the skin.
There is a curtain to a back room, where women may go to get massages, away from the prying eyes of those passing the tent. Back, shoulder, and foot massages are offered, though back and shoulder massages require the patron to change into one of the spa robes.
Conversation here is light and relaxed, with the smell of massage oil giving the area a heady feel. Normal chairs are interspersed through the tent, so a visitor may sit and converse with his lady of choice while she relaxes. However, men are not permitted in the massage area, though some choose to sit outside and talk through the curtained barrier.

OOC Info :
Just a few quick reminders, and these go for the men and the women!
- Feel free to post amongst yourselves without moderator intervention. I will pop in with a post here and there, but don't wait for me.
- You may move to a new location/thread, but you must post a "leaving" post here before you post your introduction into the other thread.
- NPCs are allowed in, even allowed to give beads, but any beads given from them do not count towards your competition total. We're pretty loose with NPCs around here, so feel free to use them as you like.
- If you are not competing, you are still allowed to hang out. However, only if you were registered in the city of Riverfall prior to Sept. 16 are you allowed to give out beads. Just assume you lost them or gave them all out already. Here's a clear breakdown of what you can do depending on your status:
- Compete: Must be registered in signup thread (which is now closed)
- Give out beads: Must be registered in the city prior to Sept. 16
- Hang out without beads: Anybody
- On Nov. 1, the final party thread will be posted, though you may continue in the primping threads if you'd like. I'd like them to start winding down though around the end of the season, though it's not a requirement.
