Waiting by the door, Turrin turned his head slightly when he thought that he saw something by the wall, but when he looked over, he saw nothing and muttered to himself, “I must be seeing things...” Suddenly the door opened, and the half-Myrian could only stare at the beautiful Endal Alori standing in front of him for a few ticks. Turrin knew that he should compliment her on her outfit, but he couldn't muster the right words, so he said with a warm smile, “Thank you for inviting me, Alori, and congratulations on joining the Endal ranks. Aponivi and I are delighted to hear that Durveth bonded with you, and I am sure you and her will do great things for Wind Reach in the future.” Turrin paused for a moment and tried to think of a compliment, “By the way, Alori, you look quite stunning tonight in that outfit tonight. ” When the Alori gave him permission to enter her home, he gave her another smile as he walked through the door. The young Endal seemed to inherit one of the more luxurious aeries in Wind Reach. Turrin heard rumors that the Stone Crest Gallery was once own by a rich Endal who spent many nights in arms of many artisans. He wondered if the artisans had a hand in designing the aesthetic appeal of the aeries. The Endal look up and the ceiling designs in the plaster and said to Alori with a laugh, “After seeing your aeries, Alori. I might need to talk to the Valintar to see if I can get a upgrade to a new home.” Turrin's knew his aeries was just about as splendid as her's aeries, but he was starting to get ideas to make his home more inviting to other people. In actually, he hasn't done much of anything with his aeries since his mother and sister died a few years back. In honesty, he tried to avoid it since the memories of them still haunt him today. Walking farther into the room, the Turrin turned to Alori and asked with a polite grin, “I would like to congratulate, Durveth in person. Could you show or direct me to her when you get the chance?” Deciding to keep his compliment simple, the large man entered the aeries and his golden eyes immediately went to the first person that he recognized, Azria. The Avora was dressed in a simple white outfit. He didn't let his gaze linger for very long since he wasn't sure if she had anything throw-able in hand. It was better to not take chances with her since he was here to enjoy himself and not to defend himself from flying kitchen wear. He was surprised when she quietly said a hello and quickly vanished into the aeries. He sighed to himself when she vanished and turned his attention to the other newest Endal Lavira, and her male companion a Avora hunter with a notorious reputation in the Endal circles as troublemaker and bed warmer, Kovac. Turrin didn't know much of the man other than the rumors, but he heard the half-Vantha spent many nights warming the beds of a few well known female Endals in Wind Reach. In all honesty, Turrin didn't care what the Endals circles thought about the Avora because he was equally shunned by them too. The Endal smirked and and said with a small laugh, “Well.. it vary kind of you, Kovac, but I doubt you have much to worry from me. I heard you play the lute, Kovac. Will you be playing tonight?” The half-Myrian wasn't really good at small talk, so he decided to stick to keep the conversation simple for now |
