A surreal cavern city inhabited by Symenestra where stones glow and streets are reams of silk. Cocoon like structures hang between stalactites and cascade over limestone flows in organic and eerie arabesques. Without a Symenestra willing to escort you, entrance is impossible.

I'll give you my life!

The doctor's comment didn't make her happier. Indeed she became a little nervous and yelled at him. "Oh Hellebore, just shut up! I'm the one who is giving birth right now! I heard about my human mother too, I'm not just a dumb dancer!" She felt she would slap him, but she didn't want to waste strength. However the konti was different. She indeed could calm her down. Naisa was curious how she could stay next to him... or how could she even live with the symenestras? Wasn't it strange for her?

"I know bu....AHH!" She wanted to whisper her an answer but it she couldn't finish it. She let her belly and grabbed the bed. The baby was coming, and the contractions were so rapid she couldn't not think about the baby. the hard part came, this what she was waiting for so long. The head was out said the doctor and Naisa wanted to check.

But she couldn't, there were other things to do. As the doctor she started to push. And she felt something pierce inside of her. She wasn't able to tell what was it, at least she didn't want to. She continued to push with all of her strength. It was terrible, she wanted it to be over. She wanted the baby out and she wanted to rest. But the baby was nearly out. Only a little more push...

Deso looked up to the Konti and still remained silent. He nodded. He just realized now, this was their life, he had to accept it. It was hard but as long as the baby was fine.
OOCUgh.. I'm terrible at writing how a man can feel or what are his thoughts. Sorry about it! :embarrassed:

I'll give you my life!

Hellebore did shut up, but not because Naisa had told him so. He shut up because all his attention was on her baby now. There was pain, even worse than before, and then it was over all of a sudden, and Hellebore raised the screaming, bloody baby triumphantly and proclaimed: „It’s a girl!“

Naisa’s daughter would help keep the Symenestra race alive for another generation or two.

He handed the little girl to Adelia who cleaned it and wrapped it into a warm, fluffy cloth before she laid it on Naisa’s chest. „Your daughter is strong and healthy“, she told her gently. „Listen to her scream!“ She gestured for Deso to come closer so that he could take a look at his daughter as well.

„What do you want to call her?“ she asked.

Hellebore in the meantime had retreated into the background to give the new parents some time together with their daughter. For now Naisa wasn’t in any pain thanks to Hellebore’s potion. There was nothing but a slight unpleasantness that was easy to ignore, as if Naisa wasn’t doomed.

She pushed it more and more. The pain it was something she had never ever experienced before. And the last push and she heard a baby's screaming. And Hellebore said it's a little girl. The screaming was a gentle song for her ears. The pain, she forgot the pain like she didn't have it before.

She wanted to hold her. Finally she did it, she did it. The joy was overwhelming all she had to do for it. Naisa's face looked a little sick. She was tired and something was going inside. Although finally the screaming, healthy baby was on her chest. She was cuddling it but tried to be careful with her. Deso with a big smile on his face joined also. "Well she isn't a boy but I was never good at guessing was I?"

He kneeled down to them hugging her love and also with one of his hand, he laid to the baby. "She should be Desia!" Naisa said. She looked at the baby, and their eyes were nearly the same. And then she sighed. It was nearly time for them but for the last time she cuddled the baby tiighter but still carefully. Then she gave the baby to Deso.

From his face the smile has vanished. He knew what's coming also now. But before Naisa could say anything, he gave her a good bye kiss. Naisa was still smiling."I'm tired... I'm really tired now. Could you show her to Leth? I promised him I will but.. I can't keep that promise unless you do it for me." She started. "Also don't let her get the stupid thoughts she is a true pureblood and other. She is a symenestra just like me or you!" She took a last look at the baby and then back at Deso. "And I always loved you! But..." It was hard to speak for her now. She had to stop it."I need to sleep. Take care of her well, darling!"

She closed her eyes and going to sleep forever. She stopped breathing. Deso's Cheva mark turned into a Lacun mark. She was dead. Deso was sad and depressed. He kept his tears for himself while he was bringing the baby to Hellebore and his assistant for checking. But he didn't know that Naisa was next to the Moon god with the other chosen ones now.
