Guy walked out of the gates in full costume, embarrassed and slightly annoyed at himself.
Idiot! 20 years of training and you still make the same mistakes over and over! Juggling so close to the outer wall, Guy had become distracting during his performance and overshot one of his oranges, causing it to fly up and away, outside of the walls. Jeez, and you needed that! One might not think a single orange was enough to cause worry over, but it was the principle of the matter. And besides, that was part of his dinner, and he was taught early in life not to waste food. Waste not, want not...
He emerges in the forest, near the wall, and hears a clank nearby. Rushing to the noise, he suddenly thought better of it, and stayed back, concealing himself in the trees. He peeks his head out, and views a frustrated woman with snow-white hair practicing with her sword. He watches her as she practices, wondering whether he should approach her, when he sees a glimpse of orange in the grass, out in the open. His orange, having been launched out of the city, landed near her, probably startling her. Thankfully, she didn't take it, though she had every right to do so. Deciding coming out in the open was best, he walked out, backpack in his arm, and said, "Don't be alarmed, I won't hurt you, I just want my fruit." Bending down to pick up the orange, he tosses it behind him, making it disappear into the back of his vest, whilst bowing to her. He straightens up, and holds out his gloved hand, black and gold silk shining in the light, to help her up.
"Guy Laliberté, at your service."
