Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

Sat down, crouching so she could apply the salve she made, if she wanted to. "Robert." He responded to her question, offering a smile to her. "You're awefully kind. "Thank you for your help." |

Thought about the question for a moment. He didn't really drink tea. So there really was no kettle around. He'd shake his head. "No, I don't, sorry." He responded, trying to think of something he could use instead of it. Nothing really did come to mind, as he shrugged lightly. Only to remember there was a cut alongside it. An aching pain going over his shoulder, and he shuddered.
The camp only did have the one tent, and a not yet lit campfire. That did remind him that he needed to make fire before the night becomes too intense. if not else, it'll keep wildlife away hopefully. "Don't think there's anything useful around here." |

Tried to move his arm. Of course it was stinging. But it was bearable. The unlit fireplace already had firewood on it. All it needed was a little spark. Slowly, he'd stand up, and walk towards the tent where his backpack resided. Upon opening it, he'd start rummaging through it to get some flint and tinder which he'd use to hopefully start making a fire. Each move ached,he didn't deny that. But without fire this little ordeal would be way too dangerous. |

She watched his every movement. Each thing he did seemed to be pained. After he went into his tent for something, she looked around. It was a mess in her perspective. There were training dummies laying about. In all honesty, she felt at home here in the forest. Since she was a little, she adored the outside. Living in an apartment seemed to drain her usually energized self.
Noise of movement behind her brought her away her musings. Robert came back out with a flint and tinder. Seeming that he was in pain, Nilika took the items. She tugged at his shirt, "you should sit right now." Leaving him alone, she walked towards the fire pit. The wood was laid messily in it. "I want you to stay still. I don't want that wound to get dirty again," she spoke as she took out a knife.
She took the flint in one hand and the knife in the other. She slashed the knife against the flint above the tinder in the wood.

Felt quite useless at the time. The flint and tinder taken from his hands, and he did feel like this child was ordering him around. Well, to her defense, she was able to. She did treat his wound without any but or ifs. He sat down on a rock watching her work, sighing as he gazed over the dummy with the bloodied daggers. He should really clean that tomorrow, before it gets rusty.
With a sigh, he looked back to the girl tending the fire. "Err...Yeah, I'll keep still. Can you handle it?" He decided to break the uncomfortable silence, taking a deep breath to surpress the aching feeling in his shoulder. Slowly, the pain was getting more and more numb, as his body was getting used to it. But that didn't mean it did hurt less. "You know...I don't have anything to repay you with. Got some dried meat if you're hungry? It's in the backpack." |

He nodded at her words, not going to bother her more with it. it's rare you find someone with knowledge on treating wounds that doesn't want a couple of shinning coins for their services. Not like the ones from Syliras. His attention shifted to the now healed yet still seen bitemarks on his left hand. He sighed. His shoulder was still hurting, but less so than before. It wasn't really a deep wound, but it did cut into the flesh. It would take a while to heal up properly. But nothing some herbs and bandages wouldn't help, he thought to himself.
"Well thank you anyways. I appreciate it." He said, giving her a warm smile. His plain brown eyes gazing at the now burning fire, reflecting the sparks in them. As she got closer, his gaze shifted from it to her. "Didn't expect anyone to be here, you see." He decided to break the silence, trying to justify his clumsy ways of getting hurt. "Caught me off guard. Should really be more careful." |
