Rheon "Shark" Blueheart Appearance Race: Svefra Gender: Male Age: 20 Birthday: 3,Winter,493AV Birthplace: Suvan Sea Appearance: Rheon is a well built man. With Caucasian based skinned tone. His muscular structure is toned rather than bulky. His most notable features are his cold blue eyes. He possess Dirty blonde hair. He usually cuts off the sleeves of his shirts which are simple in design and color. He wears simple pants that are usually baggy. Character Concept Rheon was born at sea and this is how he chooses to live as well. Devoted to pursuing freedom and fame he wants to eventually captain a crew and live the dream his family has lived. He loves interacting with others and is very sarcastic even when the situation is extremely dire. If he feels there is an injustice done to himself or a friend he will not hesitate to speak up. He usually rushes into things when it involves his friends; however, his silly demeanor hides his strategic mind. His nickname Shark comes from him swimming with a pair of sharks by mistake when he was learning to swim. His fighting style encompasses the use of three swords which was passed down to him by one of his mentors Captain Bullocks. The stance uses two swords (one in each hand) and one in his mouth. Character History Rheon was born on the sea while most people are born in a town or nursery. His mother(a svefra) and father(human) were sea-faring people that always moved around. One day at sea when Rheon was only a couple of months old a large storm came across their ship while they were fishing. Many of the Svefra aboard were arguing if this was a natural occurance or the will of Laviku. The family did not know whether they would live or not so instead they gave the children a chance to live by placing them in baskets and drifting them out to sea in hope that they would be found. They prayed to Laviku to protect their children as their ship would ultimately be destroyed by the storm. Rheon managed to survive the storm and drift to another Svefra boat. The Svefra had been fishing and accdidently caught Rheon's basket within their net. They quickly begin to examine the contents of the basket and saw it was another fellow Svefra and that he had the mark of Laviku upon him along with the customary blue eyes, and then they adopted him. It is not known whether or not anyone else from his pod survived. The basket had his name so that they could identify what pod he was from. When he was old enough to understand they explained everything that had happend in his past. They told him his full name. He now identifies with himself as Rheon Blueheart of the Blueheart pod just incase he meets any surviviors of his original family, but during his time with the pod that rescued him he would often refer to himself as Dreamcatcher. His time with his new family was a joyful experience as he learned many things from them. He loved them as he would a normal family and upon the age of seventeen he left on good terms to find any survivors of his original pod. Upon his departure they had an extravagant party just as they did upon his arrival. He thanked his foster parents and vowed to see them again as he sailed off into the sunset to live his life independent from his pod. He had a habit of staring endlessly into the sunset and sunrise; this was due to the fact this was a practice he and his foster mother did often. He also has one dream; a dream that he told his family. He planned to make Balnag his Tavan. It would be a hard enduring feat indeed it would defenitely secure him as one of the most well known terrors of the sea and maybe the world. This dream stems from a night of fishing with a few members of his family when he was about the age of 12. They were showing him the ways of fishing when Rheon suddenly felt as if something was watching them. For no reason at all it was like something knew his location. The boys had just finished there explanation when they rowed back to the nearby coast and begin to divide the fish; however, Rheon was looking out at sea the entire time. He claims he saw the glimpse of a large fin as a wave came crashing out of that area. No one knows if this is true or not. Even Rheon is not sure if that was exactly what he saw, but it fit the descriptions of the legends some of the older Svefra told. Before Rheon could become a Captain he still had much to learn about sailing, trading, and incidentally smuggling. He had the Svefra drop him off at Syliras and from there he was on his own. He applied for the Sylirian nights thinking that would be a good way to start his life only to be denied. He walked the streets of Syliria for a while before finding a crew sign up sheet. Rheon, being the opportunist he is, jumped at the chance to make some "honest" money. They were apparently a local Sylirian trading company. He simply crossed out the final name out on the paper and put his name on the list. It only took a couple of days for Rheon to find out it was indeed a trading company as they said, but it was also a Pirate ship. A elderly but unaturally strong man named Bullocks was the captain of the ship and he had done business in the north. They had a trading route set for the city of Avanthal home of the Vantha. During Bullocks's travels he had came in contact with many Vantha during his life time and was able to speak Vani almost fluently during this trip. On the voyage Bullocks often paid special attention to Rheon because he was amused at Rheon crossing the name off the list and replacing it with his.(Yes he saw that). He thought Rheon had the makings of a good Captain, or at least a good sailor, and taught him many things including a little bit of Vani and his unique fighting style encompassing three blades. The attention paid to Rheon often led to many conflicts between Rheon and Bullocks's first mate Xerxes whofelt he had been wronged. On their final trip Rheon stated he planned to remain in order to start his own crew and make a name for himself. They sailed across the coastline and when they reached Zeltiva Rheon decided he would part ways at Ravok. They docked in Nyka and set toward Ravok on foot. When they finally reached the lake a man was waiting there with a row boat. It would seem Captain Bullocks had arranged this. Rheon rowed to Ravok and parted ways and prepared for a life at Ravok. One would begin his journey the other would end his long sailing career in retirement as they said goodbye with a smile. Bullocks's first mate Xerixes is now the Captain of Bullocks's old ship and crew.Rheon lives on the streets of Ravok trying to save money for a ship to set sail.
