EDIT: It might also be a good idea to wait until your NPCs have been approved before starting a thread using them.

Fall is almost at a close and we're about to start up winter! Make sure that you're getting your job threads done, and yes you need at least three of them.

Acco what do we do for Seasonal exp again?

Seasonal EX is given for using your job as a backdrop in threads that aren't job threads.. It's harder to do for squires...since you all don't work..and don't do squire stuff either. But something could be worked out, however you WON'T gain extra points in weapon skills that you've already shown in the threads that you submit for the EX. It would be for something else..IF you earned anything.

So... Now I know this is going to sound a silly question, and I admit that I'm really just curious, but what is the difference between a job thread (not entirely sure I've seen this defined which might be my problem) and a thread where the job is background for another thread? Eanos doesn't really get out much so I'm sort of wondering where the line would fall. He is really going to have to get out more next season.

A job thread is a thread that shows your PC doing their job. Whatever it says the job is in the price list. If you rp that out in a thread, it's a job thread.

Using your job as backdrop would be...Eanos perhaps just leaving work, and he's thinking on what he has to do the next day, making plans to do those things. Going to the shop or something and buying new materials. Or maybe he's talking steel works with Hadyn outside of the job. All that would count.

So, would a thread that shows the character at work but not necessarily doing their job (i.e. slacking off) still qualify as a job thread?

Sure!! You won't be paid, but it counts. You may even get seasonal XP in slacking.
