Appearance Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Birthday: First day of Spring, Green Watchstone, Year 485 AV
Birthplace: Syliras
Appearance: Physically, he is astonishingly handsome, but in the typical way that knights in shining armor often are: flawless of feature and countenance with dashing good lucks, a lantern jaw, barrel chest and naturally muscular physique. Black haired and blue eyed, with perfect teeth and naturally thick hair. Exactly like most every other Trema.
However, it is very important to note that Danough himself is not concerned with surface appearances; there is no vanity to him. He is extremely by-the-book and uptight, and all actions are done with deliberation and thoughtfulness. It is not clear if he has a sense of humor. Or if he has that extra bit of charisma that makes great leaders.
Most men that remember him recall that he always looks you in the eye when you are talking; he has a solid handshake and often nods in agreement with you; he always attempts to find common ground. But most don't remember him; while handsome compared to many in the world of Mizahar, there is nothing unique or special about him.
Character Concept There is nothing to tell. He is what he is. There are no dark corners to his soul. He has spent his life happy and protected in a castle where most everyone he encounters looks like him and thinks like him. His father was a knight, his grandfather was a knight, and his children will be knights. He can trace his lineage back to Jossfrey Trema, and is of course related to Quilin Trema and Surint Trema. He is an extremely intense and serious citizen and takes his duties seriously. Danough is single-minded in his pursuit of justice, purity and humilty.
However, he is excessively patient and pious and therefore lacks the fire and zeal of the greatest knights. Like many Trema men who are simply content with their lot in life, Dannough is thoughtful and accepting. He has never been called inspiring.

Character HistoryAt the age of 10 he was sent as a Page to the household of Ser Peterson Brock. For three years he worked very hard at all the tasks given to him. The other boys found him a bit boring and he did not show any inclination towards being a leader; however he got along well with everyone and was the sort of boy that was neither extremely popular nor an unwelcome pariah. He was always in the middle of the pack, only really showing any animation when asking about his actual duties as a page.
At the age of 13 he became eligible to become a Squire but he was not immediately promoted as he lacked zeal. None could find fault with him; he simply lacked ambition but he was a Trema so this was taken into stride. Records indicate he became a Squire closer to his 15 birthday.
He was sent to the household of Zebediah Nigroso but instead of being directly taught by his patron he was foisted off onto another squire, Babiel Druva. Babiel could most politely be described as a bit dense; he had the strength and appearance of a Knight but was not diligent about pursuing his education as he found both teaching and learning to be boring; this had a detrimental effect on Danough's career as he could not in good conscience surpass his mentor, and therefore he is to this day only a nominal knight who is only at the bare base minimum level of aptitude required for acceptance into the feudal ranks.
As with most men that bear the Trema name, Danough has spent his life in Syliras. He is not a Knight for the glory or the prestige and has not yet risen in the ranks despite his advanced age. If he had not become a knight he would have become an architect, as he had always valued the maintenance of the city itself more than the honor or privilege that comes from promotions; many men his age have squires and pages and commands, but Danough cares more about the upkeep of Stormhold Castle than his own accomplishments. He is fine being in the chain of command and is always willing to pitch in any way he can to help anyone, be it knight, squire or common citizen. There is no job beneath him. No matter where he is, Danough will always be interested in how Stormhold functions; everything from how the grounds are kept to overseeing wall repairs and gate maintenance.
Danough has displayed no interest or aptitude for politics. He agrees with the prevailing attitudes; he looks up to Nehim Irandel and feels that Syliras is currently in good hands. He is quiet about his opinion of Fredir Stalinsa as he is too wise to ever say a negative word against a member of the Council, but he shares the common view that the man is a bit harsh.
Danough spends most of his time riding around the inner and outer walls of Stormhold Castle, inside the gate and outside the gate, as he is both interested in doing his duty to protect and serve the populace but also because of his interest as a member of the Trema family in keeping an eye on and maintaining the wall.
Recently, as of the end of Autumn 513 AV, he has been assigned a new task within Stormhold Castle and with that has come a new superior, Sera Mariah Stalinsa, and she has let Danough know in no uncertain terms that it is time he showed more diligence in becoming the best knight he can be.
Now. Now it is the dawn of Winter. And in some ways Danough's adventures are just beginning.
