AppearanceBliss is a morpher, and as such small aspects appearance can change frequently, depending on what she needs and what she feels like. Her true form consists of pale sunless skin, blue slate eyes and tomato red hair. She is five feet and three inches tall, and doesn't usually change her height though her shoes add several inches to her overall appearance. Sometimes her favorite things to don are scales, ivory or claws, but she'll also adopt simpler things like fangs and claws too or even bladed parts. For someone who is moderately cute and attractive naturally, she takes a great deal of care in her appearance even though she seems to be fixed on hiding it from most of the world. When the mask is lost, so too it seems is her persona of the nameless Mimic, and she becomes this fragile creature of innocence and shyness. It seems she can hide from others but not from herself, which might have been her problem all along; a lack of self understanding. She'll never make eye contact or even face in the same direction unless she is hidden behind her visage. To the inexperienced or unacquainted, it could even appear that she is a different person entirely. Elsewise, she is in a constant limbo between monstrous and angelic, mixing both elements seamlessly and fluidly.
OOCSince hair and make up can change, whatever it is like I will start off my first posts describing it in detail.Character ConceptBliss is a true enigma. She rarely speaks; when she does, it is short and straight to the point. Her mind seems to have halted a long time ago in exchange for the constant pursuit of purpose and self-fulfillment. She is incredibly daft and apathetic, so figuring out how she feels can be nigh impossible. She is usually honest and integritable with a lack of reasons or motivations to lie, or would rather just admit nothing at all. One thing that's for certain is the years of psychological trauma from the earliest times of her life must have affected her in negative ways, causing her to be so drone-like. Ironically, for someone who cares very little about the muses or machinations of others, she seems to be moderately concerned with her own appearance as implied by her kits for cosmetics and hair supplies. Her past has left her empty and insignificant, constantly craving an identity deep inside and resorting to Morphing magic to bend her body into a constant stride between monstrous and divine. She is rarely in the face of the public without a hood and twisted mask of a blind beast with huge fangs, though it contrasts with her innocent expression and soft face. She may even be a bit xenophobic and incredibly shy. When her mask and coat is gone, her "safety blanket" is lifted and she becomes an incredibly bashful, withdrawn creature who is almost immobilized by introversion. Because of this, she goes through a great deal to protect her equipment, hide the fact that she is doing so and keep anyone from finding the one way of controlling her indefinitely.
Character HistoryBliss' story is one of the constant struggle of the moralities of good and evil; one girl's pursuit of peace in a world she seems only to be destined to leave a trail of ruin and disdain in. It begins almost two decades ago in the province of Ravok, a misleadingly unsettling city set afloat on the lake of the same name.
Bliss was the daughter of a partly Inarta mother, a Lhavitian woman born from an affair with a male Endal. Bliss' parents met in her father's glory days of trading, when he was enraptured by her red hair and cunning look. He swore to make her his own and eventually succeeded. He was a decent man but used every trick in the book to make sure that she moved in with him to Ravok. The two settled down in what was an awkward harmony at best. Their child was born with an aura of innocence and bliss, thus her name became Bliss. Because of her aura, which imposed on her actual aura, the Black Sun was drawn to stories of her spread by her father. When first a representative went to their home offering to "train" the child in a "fitting" upraising at her coming of reasonable age, and declined, the group began leaning on the couple by other means. When life became akin to a living nightmare and the reasons became obvious, they finally had enough leverage to incline the couple to sell their child. Her role was not only to be a faithful of Rhysol but a promoting piece, as if to say 'Look at her, see? Life as a Rhysol worshiper can be grand and enlightening,' and really "sell" the faith. It was a double victory for them, whom had also ensured that her mal-aligned mother would never influence her into the path of other gods or goddesses.
The young Bliss was passed down to one of the agents of the Black Sun for the intent of training and educating her to be a loyal and effective follower. What instead happened was unbecoming of him and a misrepresentation of all of the faith, as she was instead kept as a "pet" of sorts and locked away in his cellar. Bound to greed over duty he kept her for several years, feeding and educating her personally and never letting her see the true light of day. Bliss became a thing of his lust and selfishness, frequently being tooled into morphing into other forms for him or slaving away at tasks he felt beneath him. Her broken psyche grew to only know servitude and suffering for the betterment of all others. Rhysol must have been displeased with his disservice hoarding her for himself instead of doing his rightful task, as the agent one day fell to cruel fates and died of still unknown causes. When his home was backed up on rent and taxes, the city sent for him and discovered, instead, his corpse and the cellar which became the girl's prison. She was summarily set free and offered the further guidance of the Black Sun. Yet with a warped sense of moral principles which never had a chance to develop in her tormented life, her place was not long for Ravok.
Bliss feared for her belonging and knew not how to confront her parents; they did not spend time together enough for her to truly understand the love they shared with each other. Instead, she took to the paths southbound to Nyka. Almost immediately upon arrival she locked herself away in her rooms at inns and lodgings, practicing her crafts in complete solitude. Her fragile, antisocial nature nurtured her darker sense of self and lead her into constantly wearing hoods and a mask every time she left her home. She began using morphing as a means to rewrite who she is and subconsciously hide from who she was. Gradually, she developed an identity around it, then an appearance, until the persona known as Bliss Mimic was born and a visage to her identity was made. In her mind, thoughts of home or who she really was became lost, in their place a constant drive to find peace and serenity in a world where the lines between right and wrong were blurred. Now an innocent killer and worse a magic wielder, her life became an enigma of ignorance. A girl who did not know the meaning of happiness knew not where to seek it, and one that knew only pain could tolerate it enduringly. She was that girl, and she was lost with no place to be. Her purpose was to find purpose.
Despite her problems, Bliss has a pure heart and a beautiful face hidden behind the coats and masks and hoods. Her journey to the discovery of happiness and balance was only just beginning to unfold.

Heirloom: Bliss wears a set of special shackles as a symbol of unguided servitude and in preparation of her advancements in magic use. Elaborate glyphing patterns engraved in once tapped her djed and prevented her from casting magic, while a trigger sigil binds this neutralizing effect to her body and aura only. Her former captor acquired them in an effort to control her while still making her use magic to his whim, but she never parted ways with them, perhaps due to an odd sentimental attachment. She keeps the key herself, or keeps it in a safe place/in safe hands otherwise. The actual magic within has all but faded away.
