I'kizo Amlus Appearance Race: Konti Gender: Female Age: 26 Birthday: 23rd day of the winter season, 486 AV Birthplace: The Konti Isle Appearance: As most Konti, I'kizo has long and beautiful, whiter-than-snow hair that matches her skin. Scales run all around various parts of her body covering her fair, pale skin, which complements her sparkly, amethyst colored eyes. Iggy is five and a half feet tall, a measly hundred and eighteen pounds, and has long, thin, white eyelashes. She is, by all means, an average, healthy, young Konti woman. Character Concept Despite making poor slaves unless treated properly, Konti are well known for being captured and sold by slavers. This is exactly what has happened to Iggy, who was then escorted to the Syliras region to be sold for profit. Enslavement, however, has not dampened her optimistic and often cheery personality, though during her captivity, I'kizo has grown depressed, praying that she would be rescued or purchased by a kind sole. Although the young Konti is often happy and bubbly, making her appear slightly air-headed, she is very cunning and intelligent when she needs to be, which helps make up for her lack of physical prowess. Iggy hopes to one day become a talented healer, so she can prevent others from suffering the same fate as her father. Iggy enjoys singing, dancing, swimming, and often spent her time flirting with the few men that would come to the island (for whatever reason they were there.) Spending all of her time with traders and adventurer's, she learned how to haggle prices and decipher flaws in products. Adding to her large array of skills, I'kizo studied poisons intensely to learn more about them and better treat them. Character History As most Konti do, I'kizo grew up happily on Konti Isle, and learned about herbs and medicine from her mother. When her father fell ill to a mysterious sickness, the family was devastated, and due to their only-adequate knowledge on medicine they were unable to treat him. After his death, I'kizo swore to learn more about medicine and herbalism to prevent this from happening to her again. I'kizo's mother often called her Iki, as a nickname. One particular trader that would bring and sell herbs to her, misheard this when they met for the first time, and proceeded to call her Iggy, from that day on. This man soon became Iggy's love interest, and was very protective over her. Due to his overprotective nature, he often warned her not to venture far from her home, though she constantly did so anyways, in search of herbs. It was during one of these herb hunts that Iggy's sweetheart's worst fears would com true. She was captured by a band of slavers and hauled off to the Syliran region. Post Creation Iggy was rescued by the Sylirian knights, and was freed from slavery. Not having anywhere to go, or any way to find work, she became a beggar among the streets. A man named Ander Jibs saved her from her poverty, only to abandon her shortly after for her "weakness." So Just Who Is, Iggy? General Information : 1. What is your Name? My name's I'kizo. It's a pleasure to meet you! 2. Do you go by a nickname or pet name? Well... An old friend of mine used to call me Iggy, or Ig. 3. How old are you? Twenty six. I guess I'm still just kid! 4. What is your height? Five foot... I think? I dunno. I haven't checked my height in a while. 5. What is your weight? Huh? Don't you know it's rude to ask a girl her weight? If you must know... I believe I'm a hundred twenty? Aesthetics : 1. Describe yourself as you see yourself. I'm pretty happy, usually. Maybe a little bit of a flirt. 2. Describe yourself as others typically see you. I hope that others see me as a benevolent person. I also really hope the others think I'm useful, I'd hate to be a burden! 3. What is your favorite body feature? My favorite body feature? I'm not a very lustful person, but I think someone's hands can say a lot about them. 4. How physically fit are you? Not very... I'm not one for sports, honestly. I suppose you could say I'm a bit of a flake. Hey, don't look at me like that! I can be useful in other ways! 5. How do you typically dress and what is your style? I've been lead to believe that yellow goes well with purple, so I used to wear a yellow dress to bring out my eyes. It was awfully pretty; I wish I still had it... Family : 1. Who are your parents and what are they like? My mom's really great, her name is Irana. Can you tell her I said hi if you go to the Konti Isles? What, my father? Oh... he's... Can we move on? This topic upsets me. 2. Do you have any brothers or sisters? No, unfortunately I was an only child. I always wanted a little sister though! 3. What is your extended family like? I have an uncle, but I don't know him that well. He sends money every now and then on mom and dad's anniversary date, but other than that I don't really know him that much. Mom says that back when the three of them used to go out and adventure, he was really good at using a bow and arrow. Must make the money he sends us by hunting, or something like that. 4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family? I think having friends is extremely vital to who we are, though I wouldn't go so far as to say they are more important than family. Speaking of which, I miss my friends that I used to have on Konti Isle. 5. Do you treat animals like family? I'd like to say that I would, but I don't interact with animals that often, save for sea creatures. But it's kind of hard to cuddle a pufferfish and take him home with you. Location : 1. Wow, there's so many options! I heard that there's somewhere in Mizahar that has giant eagles. It would be so wonderful to fly around in the sky on an eagle's back! Don't you think so too? 4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time? I used to love swimming around in the ocean whenever I was done with my chores. 5. Where do you fear to be? With slavers... Traits : 1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?) The heat bothers me a lot, but only if it's really hot... like... a volcano! Or... something a bit more rational, such as a room without any ventilation. All that musty air? Awful! 2. Are you right handed or left handed? Ambidextrous, actually! Do you need me to write something? 3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent? I speak Kontinese, and Common Tongue, relatively well, but when I speak Common I have a bit of a typical Konti accent. Plus my Common isn't flawless, so it's easy to tell I'm foreign in places like the Syliran region. My voice is sort of high pitched and sounds a little more childish than I look. 4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? Annoying? I should hope not! Though I guess I have a tendency to pull at my blouse a lot. It's not very lady like... is it? It also causes a lot of strange incidents. 5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them)? Oh, heavens no! I couldn't imagine my body being tainted in such a way! Occupations : 1. What is your occupation? Could you consider being a slave an occupation? 2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why? I abhor it... Do you wish to be a slave? 3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be? I'd be a house wife. Nothing special, just someone's sweetheart, and hopefully a useful one at that. 4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why? I believe knights have the most honorable occupation, putting their lives on the line like that! It's like something out of a story my mother used to tell me. 5. What occupation do you lest like? Why? Slave-Sellers... I think that point should be clear by now. Childhood : 1. What sort of child were you? I was very carefree as a young girl, but I never failed to complete my chores. Me and my parents were very close, and never argued, so I was very obedient to them, or at least I tried to be. 2. What is your favorite memory from childhood? I remember when my father used to take me out on his boat to see the ocean. He tried to teach me a thing or two about the ocean and it's creatures, I think, but I'd always fall asleep in his lap before I could learn anything at all. Now I kind of regret not learning from him... 3. What is your worst memory from childhood? Next question please... 4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents? My parents and I? We were great friends, and, as I said before, we never fought, and we were a really happy family. 5. Who was your most influential rolemodel? My mother, easily. She taught me everything I know about medicine, and I hope I can be as important to someone as she was to my dad and I. Every time I think of her, it makes me feel as though I should always try harder to make myself useful. Education : 1. What sort of education do you have? Only what my parents taught me, and the traders I hung out with. 2. Do you like/dislike learning? I love learning new things, unless it's something boring like wine tasting. How much can there be to learn about tasting something? 3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities? My mom taught me everything I know about medicine and herbs; I learned the rest from traders and personal experience. 4. How do you learn best? I think I learn best by being taught from someone I'm close to, and by actual experience rather than being lectured or something of that sort. 5. What are your educational goals for the future? I hope to become a very skilled healer some day, so I can help those close to me. Relationships : 1. Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not? Of course! It's important to have someone close to you! 2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not? Yes, maybe a bit too easily. Is that a bad thing? I don't want to be gullible! 3. Do you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Straight as a line. I can't say that I've ever found myself interested in a woman. 4. Have you ever been kissed? If so, describe the first time. No... well, my father used to kiss me on the head before bed time, but that doesn't count exactly, does it? 5. Have you ever had sex? If so, describe the first time. Sex? I'm not even considered an adult yet, and I've only had one relationship. Drugs and Alcohol : 1. Have you ever been drunk? If so, describe your first time. No, dad wouldn't ever let me have any of his booze. He would say: You've got yerself a good head on yer shoulders Iki, don't let it go bad like yer old man did. My mom would laugh and hit him gently with a dish towel. 2. Do you like to drink on a regular basis? I dunno. I don't think I'd ever be an alcoholic, but lots of people seem to like alcohol, so I think I'd like to try it. 3. What sort of alcohol do you prefer? Can't say, don't drink. 4. Have you ever tried drugs (mood altering substances)? If so, which kinds and what did you think of them? Drugs? Hmm, none other than sickness medicines my mother would make, but I doubt that's the kind of drug you're talking about. 5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Be specific. I think some drugs can be pretty bad, but alcohol isn't too bad, right? Likes and Dislikes : 1. What are your hobbies? I like dancing and singing. Sometimes flirting with boys. 2. Do you like to read? Yes, but only if it's a good book, or one that can teach me something interesting/useful. 3. What annoys you more than anything else? When people use each other... Or when somethings wrong with someone I love and I can't help them. 4. What do you find the most relaxing activity to do? Call me crazy, but I find it relaxing to give, not receive, massages. 5. What kinds of things embarrass you? Why? I think I get embarrassed when someone catches me pulling at my blouse, or when they call me out for flirting. Favorites : 1. What is your favorite color or colors? I like the colors blue and white. They remind me of the ocean and medical bandages, respectively. 2. What is your favorite time of day? I love the dawn. It's not too bright, and it's really pretty. Plus it reminds me that a new day is coming, and every conflict can be resolved. 3. What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? I think the prettiest thing I've ever seen was a rainbow. Cliche, I know, but it's true! 4. What do you like to eat? What do you hate to eat? I love eating fish, and hate eating anything poultry. The eggs kind of freak me out, and the meat just doesn't taste that great. 5. What is your favorite type of weather? Does any kind scare you? My favorite type of weather is a rainy day, though, oddly enough, thunderstorms frighten me. Outlook : 1. Are you optimistic or pessimistic? I'm optimistic, I think, but my view is a little biased isn't it? 2. What are your religious views? Rak'keli is the only god I'm truly loyal to. I think that relying too heavily on religion can be bad, and it keeps you from being self sufficient. 3. Would you be able to kill? Kill?! Oh, I don't think so... I have trouble just arguing with people. I don't think killing is something I'm capable of. 4. What are your views on sex? Well, I think that sex is an intimate act which should be done only to express something that words can't to the one you truly love, and shouldn't be something we do so hastily with people we don't truly love. 5. What, in your opinion, makes a successful life? To have a successful life, you need a family, a good home, and you need to be happy. Actions : 1. What is the worst and best thing you’ve ever done? I got in a fight with my mother once... but we made up after that. I can't exactly think of anything GREAT that I've done. I led a pretty boring life. 2. What is your greatest regret? Going against my love's words, and swimming to far from the islands... 3. What is your best/worst memory? My best memories were when dad used to tell me stories about him and mom, but I guess I won't be hearing any more of those now, will I... 4. If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be and why? I would change my father's death! I need him back! 5. What are you the most proud of doing in your life? At the moment? Nothing... I haven't done much with my life, now that I think about it. Emotions : 1. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings with others? I'm usually completely honest, but sometimes I try to hide it if I have a crush. Though, I'm pretty bad at hiding things like that, hahah! 2. Do you have any biases or prejudices? Well, I hate slavers, but other than that, not really. 3. What makes you happy? Rain, helping people, handsome men, and flowers, in that order. 4. Who or what, if anything, would you die for? I'd die for my family, if I were still with them. Mother must be worried sick... 5. What makes you angry? People who use each other, frequent liars, people who are rude, broken families, and things like that! Relationships : 1. In general, how do you treat others? I try to treat everyone well, and with respect. Everyone deserves the best. 2. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? There's no one in my life anymore... 3. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? I respected my father more than anyone. He was always so brave and kind. My dad really was a hero. 4. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If not, describe an ideal lover. An ideal lover would be someone who is kind to me, good looking, and sweet. Someone I can joke around with, and cuddle up to at night. Oh, and preferably not a coward. 5. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why. I'd trust almost anyone to protect me, really, but I don't know anybody. Guess it's time to make some friends! Group Situations : 1. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? I avoid conflict. 2. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? I prefer to be kind of like the backup of a group. I'm not exactly a leader. 3. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? I love groups of people! The more the merrier! Though, I'd probably be pretty shy. 4. Do you care what others think of you? Of course I do! How else would I make friends. 5. What do you think of others, in general? I see everyone as a potential friend, until they prove otherwise. Self Image : 1. What is your greatest strength as a person? I can heal people. That's what makes me useful, I should hope. 2. What is your greatest weakness? I can be really shy, and I would probably be really bad in a fight. I've sprained my wrist just by catching myself from tripping before. Not exactly a warrior, am I? 3. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I'd be a lot braver. I'm shy, and a lot of things scare me. 4. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? Oh, I'm definitely introverted. I'm really quite shy. 5. Are you generally organized or messy? It depends on what I'm doing. My room was always really clean, but all of my notebooks were sloppily put together, and the handwriting was all over the page, going every which way. Beliefs : 1. What God or Goddess do you find most appealing, if any? Rak'keli is my favorite. Without my mark, I probably wouldn't be too good at what I do. 2. Which God or Goddess do you fear, if any? I don't fear any specific god directly, but I wouldn't try to defy any of them. 3. Do you have any Gnosis Marks? If so, how did you receive them? I got one mark at birth from Rak'keli. 4. What lengths would you go to to please your deity? I hardly even really make it a point. My mom was really religious when she was young, but after spending so much time with dad, she kind of strayed away from it. 5. Where do you draw the line at pleasing your deity? What is too much? I don't think I should ever have to hurt someone for my god. Killing people is wrong. Life & Death : 1. What do you absolutely live for? I live just for the joys of life! Every day is an adventure, even if it ends poorly, it's still still exciting. 2. What is the best part of life? The best? Meeting new people and making friends! 3. What is the best part of death? Nothing! Why would anyone want to die? 4. If you could choose, how would you want to die? I would want to contract a painless, yet obvious, sickness that would take a while to reach it's pinnacle. That way I'd have time to say goodbye to everyone. 5. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? I want to be remembered as the person who saved lives. If I don't heal enough people to be noticed, then I haven't done my job right. There's always someone out there that could use the help of a healer.
