(This is a thread from Mizahar's fantasy role play forum. Why don't you register today? This message is not shown when you are logged in. Come roleplay with us, it's fun!)
The player scrapbooks forum is literally a place for writers to warm-up, brainstorm, keep little scraps of notes, or just post things to encourage themselves and each other. Each player can feel free to create their own thread - one per account - and use them accordingly.
A scrapbook might be useful to keep a few things in order. I think I'll keep this first post for some pictures and things that have inspired the character!

Might not be the most exciting border around, but hopefully soon I'll be able to make my own one featuring my character. I'm not really sure how to do that yet, though
Not exactly a picture of how I envision my character to be, but I really like this woman's style. This is fashion director Esther Quek, a fearless lady who is not only extremely stylish but isn't afraid to lean towards a more masculine look. I love how she can still retain her femininity, she really pulls off her unique style.
Perhaps not having Kaiphur's red hair, this face is a little bit how I imagine him to look like. Cooper Thompson looks seriously androgynous, he has gorgeous lips and a really feminine, rounded face.
This is Marcel Borowiec... Beautigul man, facially this is kind of how I imagine Kaiphur I think? I like this picture because this sadness reminds me of how he would have felt forced to dress up and represent something he doesn't feel he is. I like that.
Hopefully soon Kaiphur won't need to feel so restricted or shy about his past, but I would prefer to do that through development of his character instead of just starting him off that way. I feel he has a lot of potential, and I'm glad he kind of came to me quite well formed.
Going to have to end "picturespam" at some point. But I think I just want to add this little bit in-
Just before I joined Mizahar, I was trying to find a picture that looked a little how I think Kaiphur would have looked when he was trying to live as a girl.
I found some pictures of Cate Blanchett in 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age.'
I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE!
It helps to remember that his father managed to wheedle him into wealth, and tried to make sure he dressed well and was glamorous- he was all about show and trying to get his "daughter" married off. Some of these pictures show a hint of anguish or sadness, and I'd like to think thats how Kaiphur would have felt trying to perform a role and live up to his father's expectations.
