Brega's House is one of the very first buildings travelers see when they enter Sunberth. While there is no sign denoting its purpose, the three-story bordello is crawling with living advertisements. Both men and women of all shapes, ages, and sizes make rounds about the nearby streets, luring in the hapless population to spend their Mizas for a single, unforgettable night. Or several unforgettable nights, salary allowing of course. The House also provides food and drink, that of which can be served on any floor and in any room.
While the outside is run-down like the rest of the city, the innards of the bordello are covered in gaudy monstrosities. Vibrant, red tapestries decorate the walls and couches lay scattered about the front common room, lavished with scantily clad men and woman ready to give in to the wildest desires one can imagine. A spiraled series of stairs separates each of the floors with the first holding the main commons and eatery. The second is a series of private rooms for obvious uses and the third is where the actual employees sleep and live when they're not 'working'. The first and second floors are covered with thuggish goons, toting clubs and other blunt objects used to deal with the violent customers - or rather, the customers that don't pay to be violent - and anyone that refuses to pay up front is quickly introduced to the business end of a large slab of metal, most often by the animals from the Dagger's Den. The rules for a night are simple: You get what you pay for, and what you pay for is limited only by your imagination.

Title: Whoremaster

No one in Sunberth dislikes Brega. Perhaps the only kind soul inside the whole of the city, the Whore - as the inhabitants so fondly refer to her as - treats every man like a brother and every woman like a daughter, seeing to the needs of anyone that comes to her establishment. She remembers names, families, accidents, and everything anyone has ever talked with her about. Not only is she quick witted and sly, but Brega is of her own league of beauty. The richest men of Sunberth pay entire fortunes for a single hour with the women and even they, when done, are in good spirits for days afterward. Her words are enchanting and her movements even more so, filled with unearthly grace.

Alice was born in Sunberth to a teenage mother.
At the young age of three, Alice's mother died, and her care was handed over to her grandfather, Rudy. All was well for the next eleven years. When Alice was fourteen, her grandfather died, and within a fortnight, her greedy and conniving great uncle, Rudy's youngest brother, sold her to Brega.
Brega being Brega, cared for Alice until she was of age, then gave the young girl a choice; work as a whore, or work off her contract in other, less immoral ways.
Alice chose to follow in her mentor's steps and became a working girl under Brega's leadership and training.
To date, Alice is one of Brega's oldest prodigies and cares for the blonde as more a daughter than an employee.

Hadrian
Name: Hadrian Blackwood
Race: Human
DoB: 33rd of Fall, 490AV
PoB: Sunberth
Title: Guard
Skills: Brawling-40, Body Building-40, Acrobatics-45, Interrigation-50, Persuation-55, Quarterstaff-60, Unarmed Combat-60, Long sword-65, Short sword-65, Endurance-70, Leadership-52, Duel weild-85
Hadrian was born to Myra Blackwood, a native Sunberth girl who claimed to have become pregnant with her only son on a night of drunken revelry and claimed to have no recollection of whose bed she had ended up in or who Hadrian's father was. A tale Myra has doggedly maintained to this day and, Hadrian suspected, would until the day she died.
Many rumors of whom fathered Hadrian have made their rounds over the seasons, of course, but only one had the color visibly draining from his mother's face; Stiletto.
Naturally, Hadrian scoffed at the idea of being Daggerhand royalty, per se, but witnessing the look on his mother's face when he casually broached the subject made him rethink and reevaluate.
If no one could live modestly in lawless and impoverished Sunberth, Myra and her son might have been the exception. They never drank from golden chalices or slept in large elaborate featherbeds with ornamented canopies and richly-embroidered hangings, but Hadrian, nor his mother, ever wanted for food or shelter, either. He had a better life than many of his peers growing up in Sunberth and, oddly, couldn't remember a day in his life when his mother had actually worked.
Danger also had a strange way of avoiding the young man; often, just the simple utterance of his name would deter even the roughest, most violent would-be assaulters. Even as a young boy of ten, an "old friend" of his mother's had wandered into his life, offering to train the young boy in sword and fist, saying that he "saw great potential" and "it would be a waste not to train him."
There had been one condition; Hadrian would accompany the man back to Syliras where such potential could be adequately trained.
The man called himself Alvikal, or Kal, to his friends.
Coincidence? Perhaps.
By the time Hadrian had fumbled his way to adulthood, Kal had taken a boy out of Sunberth and had made a skilled, dual-wielding warrior. The day that a nineteen-year-old Hadrian had finally bested Alvikal in a spar was the same day he was sent home, with no invitation to remain in Syliras.
Hadrian hasn't seen or heard from the man since.
With nothing challenging -or moral- to adhere his skill to in Sunberth, Hadrian honored his mother's request and accepted a position at Brega's to lead the house security. A role he found comfortable, if not a little rewarding at times.
