Juriya Appearance Race: Kelvic Animal: Brown Wolf Gender: Female Age: 1 year Birthday: 23rd day of Summer, year 512. Birthplace: Riverfell Appearance: Juriya is an average sized human-looking woman. She appears to have just entered adulthood and reached the peak of her development. Her form is an unimposing 5' 5" and she weighs somewhere in the ballpark of 100 pounds. Though slight in frame, she isn't entirely helpless and seems to be hiding decent muscle under her lightly tanned skin. Her hair grows in a natural dual color of brown and gold, though she is fine letting strangers think she dyes it. In her animal form Juriya appears to be just another wolf. Her eyes are a soft amber, just like in her human form, and her fur is a mix of ivory, tan, brown and gold with some shades of brown throughout. Her paws are a bit large for her though, and her fur is fairly thick, which is great in the winter, but awful in the summer. Character Concept Juriya is pretty uncomfortable around everyone. While she seems a little more comfortable around other Kelvics, she still does not have a huge amount of trust in them due to her mother abandoning her. While she begins to understand the thing that drives her to go out and explore and visit new places as a need to find a Bondmate, her reluctance to interact with others will lessen. She still will be somewhat awkward around new people and is secretive about being a Kelvic, she is unlikely to tell anyone not like her what she is, or if they find out, what her animal form is. On her own though, Juriya is strong and independent. She believes she is capable of taking care of herself and is the type who would rather flounder or starve than ask for help. In the events when she is helped, mostly when some kind hearted person comes by and attempts to offer aid, Juriya can become rather mean and often tries to make the person feel bad for helping her, claiming she was just fine and had things just the way she wanted them, even if that is obviously not the case. In this way she shows just how stubborn she is. In the event someone can get her to calm down, relax, or just to trust and give them a chance to befriend her, Juriya can prove to be a very loyal partner and friend. In this way one could say she embodies her animal form. Once her friendship is gained you can assume she will do everything she can to assist her friends, including trying to move mountains or scour entire regions looking for someone. Character History Juriya is the child of a pair of Kelvics who ran into one another quite by chance and parted ways just as quickly as they had come together. Juriya's mother quickly understood she was pregnant and was careful to carry the child to term before promptly dumping the young child on her mothers door step. The old Kelvic woman, Guldi, took the young infant in and gave her a name, a home and knowledge. As Juriya grew quickly Guldi, a rat Kelvic who was nearing the end of her time, imparted with her information abut her kind and her mother, who it turned out was a sparrow Kelvic. Guldi also helped Juriya find good places to roam in her wolf form without much risk of being shot and skinned by hunters or picked up and taken away to be some young child's pet, as well as helping her learn to hunt in her wolf form, since it was easier to come by food as an animal than a pair of poor women with few skills. Guldi eventually died though, but her small apartment was passed onto Juriya, assuring the young Kelvic had someplace to lay her head when she wasn't out, getting into trouble, or searching the city for someone who might be interesting enough to speak to.
