Character Concept
Rose is a budding animator who one day hopes to make “The Perfect Creation”. He spends most of his spare time carving dolls and toys from wood and animating them as a way to hone and develop his skill and technique. Being a toy and doll maker, Rose had to learn how to sew because of the dolls he made, giving them clothing. His sewing isn’t just useful for making tiny dresses for dolls, but also useful for fixing clothing, and on rare occasions making clothing. He does this as a side job if people ask him for it.
As well as an animator, Rose has some knowledge of Wind Reimancy. However, his skill of them magic art is quite poor. He was initiated by his mother and had hoped that he could use the magic to assist with day to day living, but after his Initiation ritual he was left traumatised. Because of this, whenever Rose uses Reimancy he always feels a slight unnerving fear making his spells somewhat weak or restricted. Rose only uses Reimancy as a utility when it’s needed and rarely uses it for anything else, especially combat.
In term of personality, Rose isn’t much of a social butterfly. He’s able to communicate with others, but his social skills are a bit poor. Often he causes awkward pauses, or he’ll say things which are unnecessary. The reason his social skills are poor is because he spends most of this time making dolls, and time to time speaks to them. Rose is easy to get along with and is happy to talk, even with his awkward feelings. |
The Living Dolls & PuppetsDoll & Puppet ListDolls and puppets are the backbone of Rose’s life, so it’s obvious that he’ll make a lot of them. However, not all dolls he makes will become living. If a puppet or doll meets Rose’s expectation, he’ll want it to come to life, by using the animator’s ritual to bound life to the doll. Any doll that Rose wishes to come to life will have a signet on back of its neck, this serves as both an indicator and signature. The signet helps rose know if the doll is animated or not when it’s in its deactivated state. (add more soon) |
