"Of course they will recognize you!" Nissa exclaimed, happily. Sayani smiled a bit, seeing how happy her sister was with the kittens. She watched the exchange between the Symenestra and the kittens, smiling to herself. The two small cats really were cute. "They are very intelligent, I know it." Nissa nodded happily when Rovas complimented the names she had chosen.

Rovas then went to search for the things he had promised, and, when he came back, he presented both girls with three baskets. Sayani took one empty one and the other full of toys, looking inside and making a mental note about everything. She let Nissa place the green eyed kitten inside the empty basket the Symenestra was carrying, and the golden eyed one in the other.

"Should we feed them whenever they are hungry?" Sayani asked, before Nissa started talking again. "Or only a fixed amount of times per day?" she also made note of the recommendations Rovas was giving them. She knew very little about cats, and so, it was worthy to listen to him, so she would at least have an idea of what to do. It didn't seem like it was going to be too complicated, though.

„I feed my cats fresh food in the morning and the evening“, Rovas replied. „During the rest of the day there is a small bowl with dried fish and chicken standing in my kitchen, in case they are hungry. Since these two are still so small, you should cut the meat into little pieces so that they can eat it without problems. If they don’t eat everything, you should throw the rest away after a bell or two so that it doesn’t go bad. You should also clean the bowls or plates you use for the food regularly as the kittens could get sick otherwise.“

„Did I forget anything?“ he wondered, and then remarked, „Ah yes. You should of course clean the litter box regularly as well. Otherwise the kittens might decide to use your furniture as a toilet instead. Cats are very cleanly animals, and they don’t want to use a dirty, smelly litterbox!“

"Sorry, if my answer was a little too long!" he added and smiled a little.

He looked at the cat parents. Traulin had temporarily stopped watching Nissa, Sayani and the kittens and was sitting there now, licking his long tail with his pink tongue. Once he was satisfied with how his tail looked, he started licking his right paw, and when his paw was sufficiently wet, he wiped his face with it.

To Traulin being clean and looking good was just as important as Missifi and the kittens!

Sayani listened closely to the instructions once again, nodding to show she had understood. It seemed easy enough, and it didn't sound like the kittens would eat too much, even after they had grown. Sayani's final concern about the new pets went away, and the Symenestra was sure she and her sister would be able to take care of them just fine.

"It's fine. Better a long answer than one that doesn't have enough information." Sayani replied, waving her hand as a way to demonstrate she really didn't mind.

"Well, you are the one cleaning the litter box, Yani." Nissa said, smiling at her older sister. Sayani didn't answer, but she was glad that her sister had been paying attention too. As for the cleaning part... Sayani had figured she would be the one to do it even before they entered Rovas' house.

She watched as one of the older cats began to lick themselves, and smiled. Tidy creatures indeed. Turning to face Rovas once again, Sayani smiled.

"Well, thanks a lot for everything. The cats will be very well treated. And make sure you stop by to visit them someday."

"Yes, thank you, Rovas!" Nissa said after her sister, her smile much bigger, and the girl offered an enthusiastic nod to the former owner of the kittens.

"I will stop by and ask if anything , if you don't mind, of course." Sayani finished, patting her sister on the head and indicating it was time to go. The girl nodded, and held the three baskets carefully in her arms. Sayani passed an arm around the girl's thin waist and raised her as she climbed the silken rope to exit the house. Even with the baskets, Nissa was light enough for the Symenestra to carry, at least for a while. Once in the top, Nissa waved goodbye to Rovas, before both sisters disappeared through the opening.
