47th of Winter, 513 AV Port of Sunberth
Ceto's day had been nothing different then any other day that Sunberth had given her since she had arrived her early this winter. Another day consumed by work and alcohol. She had left the tavern just as the sun began to set, she wasn't fond of the stink hole that people called a town. She had spent majority of her childhood in this town and had only a few good memories in the sea of bad ones. As she stumbled down the streets and ally ways back to the port the sun had already went to bed. The moon had risen and the waves lapped against the docks gently almost as if the sea was singing a lullaby of it own for those who cared to listen. She had just rounded the corner when the sea and its lovely ships came into view, it didn't even have to look to recognize her ship the words "The lady's fortune" carved into the side, paint peeled from where the words had once been decorated. The dark grain wood splintering in places from lack of care, Ceto even though she knew better had slowly begun neglecting her ship and why should she care about it there was nothing that her floating house could do for her then give her a place to sleep.
She shambled across the docks the wind blowing off the sea giving the air a slight salty smell and a chill that seemed to blow through her coat. Her darkly tanned skin began to become riddled with goosebumps as her body reacted to the sudden drop in temperature. Ceto could actually feel herself sobering up with each blast of cold air that hit her face as she shambled over to the ship. Her brown hair blowing in the wind her bangs only kept out of her face by the sash she wore for a headband. Her blue eyes glimmering in the moonlight just as the sea did.
Finally she had arrived and with that relief she tumbled over the lip of the ship and fell onto the deck her back lie against the cold wood floor and her eyes gazed up at the stars and that's when she noticed the dark silhouette in the corner of her eyes. She reached for her blade only to find that during her tumble it had fell out of her scabbard and slid across the deck, grabbing the dagger she kept tucked in her boots. She jumped up her footing a bit sturdy on sea then it was on land even whilst drunk. She was slightly crouched down, ready to pounce when she called out.
"Trespasser tell me ye name, before I spill your guts and throw your corpse into the sea." Ceto waved her dagger around in a threatening way as she slowly began her creep to her cutlass awaiting the strangers answer.
oocSorry If me putting your character there bothers you if so...i'll just act like its some fool that i owe money too
