Someone from the sky(Auriga)

[Minosayaa]

45th of Winter 513AV The Sculpture Yard Late Afternoon Mino took a rest looking up at the statue of Lady Morwen. The little Vantha Kelvic sat there clad in her normal outfit, a knit dress and a pair of fur lined boots. She kicked her feet underneath the bench she sat on. Coming to this statue was probably the closest she'd ever get to the Winter Queen. Despite that she still had one dream, she was entitled to a dream, right? "One day, I'll pull a sled for her. Lady Morwen... I'll give her a sled ride, just me. No polar bears, just Mino." She watched people walk by as she mumbled to herself. It was rare for Mino to visit a mainly Skyglow location as she was under the Frostfawn hold. Skyglows were artists, right? So all these people were from that hold, they must be as Mino didn't recognize many of them. With a sigh she turned her focus to the statue in front of her.

Auriga made her way into the Sculpture Yard, adjusting her coat as she stepped around two Vantha walking in the opposite direction. Looking around, she still felt the awe she had first experienced upon first entering the area. It was populated by various sculptures, and, to her annoyance, quite a few people for this time of day.

Seeking a escape from what seemed like a small crowd, she walked swiftly to the back of the yard, where she knew the statue of Morwen would be standing, in all it's quiet glory. Being there would be more relaxing than amongst the crowds, she thought, as she stepped through the gate and closed it behind her.

Neatly dodging some two members of her hold, acknowledging them quickly with a smile and a wave, she walked to the base of the statue, admiring the skill used to create it, the light from Syna giving it a number of flattering shadows.

Minosayaa watched a woman stop to admire Lady Morwen. She tilted her head to the side, taking a better look at the woman. A Skyglow Vantha, no doubt. After eyeing the woman for a few more ticks she made her way over to talk, "Lady Morwen is very pretty, don'tcha think? I've never really met her." Mino leaned on the rail surrounding the statue, "My names Mino! Imma sled dog for the Frostfawns!" She decided to blurt out all of a sudden. "Who are you? I bet you're from Skyglow, right?" Looking over the women she was the definition of Vantha beauty. Mino wished her own hair sparkled in the sky colors that twinkled in the night sky.

Auriga's contemplation of the statue was interrupted by the teen sitting on a bench nearby. She turned, giving them a small smile, glancing at the sky to see how long it was until Leth took over.

"Oh, I haven't met her either! But she does look very pretty!" She said appreciatively, glancing at the statue.

"I'm Auriga! And yes, I am from the Skyglow hold," She replied, with a little laugh. Mino certainly came off as very energetic.

"So, you're a Kelvic, then?" She asked curiously. Auriga had certainly had heard of Kelvics, but had never met one. Well, at least one in a human form. She wasn't sure if she had inadvertently met one in an animal form.

"I hear you can hold an audience with her if you're important enough.." Minosayaa turned away, "Not that I'm ever gonna be able to see her.. Auriga... That's a different sounding name! I go to the Skyglow hold once in a while to deliver goods and shipments, you guys do all that artsy stuff. It's really pretty all the carvings and paintings.The Vantha thinks it's easier using me than having a team doing the rounds. They tell me where to go and I go do my thing and come back. Mino gave a toothy smile showing canine like teeth, "Yup, Kelvic! Zypherian, to be exact! If you ever need a sled dog to ferry you around lemme know. Moving sleds is my job for hunting, supplies, or for people to see the city." She nodded to herself. "Ah! Look up! The colors will be coming out to dance for us up in the sky. I like the colors." The kelvic kept her eyes to the sky, "I wonder where they come from? Morwen has something to do with them as they only happen here. But they also only come out at night, so someone must help make them or they'd be out all the time."

[Auriga]

"I think everyone here is important enough in their own way, but Morwen wouldn't have enough time to visit each of us at once," Auriga said firmly, her purple eyes gaining a tinge of gold. There was always hope, after all.

She glanced up at the sky after she spoke, brushing her fringe out of her eyes. Syna was starting to bow out for Leth, and she hoped her new Kelvic acquaintance wouldn't have too much of an extreme reaction to her shifting.

"Perhaps Leth helps make them," She said absentmindedly, her eyes longingly fixed on the sky as she watched the sky slowly begin to darken. Soon she would shift to her true form, casting off her earthbound form for another twelve bells, or so.

[Minosayaa]

"Leth? Whose Leth? Is it a he or a she, and what do they do? How do they make the sky colors?" Mino stared up at the forming colors with a tinge of confusion. She had never heard of this Leth before in all five years of her life here in Avanthal. So who was Leth? The sky colors had always been here, but maybe Leth was a newcomer to the city. "Well tell this Leth person thank you for me. I like his sky colors. Leth does a good job." She nooded to herself. "Is Leth in the Skyglow hold?" Mino stopped talking suddenly, "Ah! Auriga! Look up! Look up! The sky colors are ready to start their dance!" Sure enough, the Auroras were out and swirling about the sky. The Kelvic's large brown doe eyes sparkled happily. Even the statues sparked under their new backdrop. Mino sang softly to herself "Colors in the Sky; Dance your pretty dance; Dance your pretty dance; We're all waiting to watch You paint the vast sky; So dance colors, dance I've been waiting for you;~" It didn't rhyme, not that the Kelvic cared. It was her song to the sky colors. It was her 'thank you' to them.

"Oh, Leth is the God of the Moon, and-"

Auriga broke off as the Auroras began to shine in the sky, as she remembered that speaking whilst shifting was not a pleasant experience. As Syna completely left her sight, she felt her mortal form begin to change, her body growing taller, and her hair lengthening greatly, the colour changing from black to silver.

She closed her eyes as her horns formed, their tips pointing up at the shimmering Auroras, their violet colour contrasting against her hair. As her skin lightened, gaining a silvery sheen, she opened her eyes once more, their colour now a deep indigo.

Once her transformation ended, she looked at Mino a bit guiltily, having not warned her beforehand.

"Sorry about the whole, surprise transformation thing," She said, waving her left hand at her body.

Mino's eyes widen, "You're some sort of Kelvic too! But you look like you fell right out of the sky colors! Is that where your from? It is isn't it!" Without any warning the Kelvic reached out while standing on her toes and touched one of the purple horns in front of her. She moved to the long hair silver hair next, studying and prodding here and there. Mino had encountered many different kinds of people throughout life the fairy-seal man, the large furry man, and the doll-like Symenestra woman. She had to figure out this new being with all of her senses. It was how she figured everything out about a person. She sniffed at this newly changed woman, "You even smell different. Does this happen to you often?" "Leth is a god? Of the night? So, he makes the sky colors along with Morwen? Oh." The wheels were moving in the Kelvics head as she processed everything she had learned and seen. "Why don't we have a shrine for Leth if he makes the colors? It seems only fair."

[Auriga]

Amused, Auriga stood still as she let Mino investigate the changes, watching as she inspected her horns and hair. "No, I'm not a Kelvic. My kind are known as the Ethaefal," She said in response to her first few statements. "I did fall from the sky, though; from Leth's realm, to be exact."

She played with a strand of her hair as she spoke with Mino.
"I become my true form at this time for around 12 bells. Then, once Leth bows out for Syna, I shift to my mortal form, a Vantha, as you saw earlier. So, yes, it does happen very often, every day to be precise."

After Mino finished speaking she looked at the sky quickly, taking in the Auroas shining across Leth's realm. "The Vantha here do not necessarily worship Leth, and I presume many do not even know about him. Other than the children of Leth, I do not know of many others who do worship him."
