A lawless town of anarchists, built on the ruins of an ancient mining city. [Lore]
"No I do not. I never accepted your wager or gave in to your demands, so, are you done? Or are you now going to tantrum like a child?"
Jax nodded his head, refusing to stop the smile from leaving his face, even if it killed him. The blue-haired man rubbed the back of his neck, sizing up the woman. She looked relatively dangerous with those... swords, are they? Jax couldn't tell. Anything with a handle and sharp steel on the end was a sword to him.
"No, no, you are correct," Jax said regretfully, rubbing his mouth and looking around the tavern, deciding on how to play out the next few moments without having his head on the floor and his body on the other side of the room. "I apologise, madam. At least let me buy you a drink?"
Jax pulled up a stool and sat himself onto it. He planted his elbow on the bar and put his head in his palm. He tried to ignore the pain of the fight that had just occurred chimes ago, gritting his teeth as he did so, whilst awaiting the female's reply.
I'm a God and it's judgement day.
A crook, a killer, a thief and a liar.
Threads: 7/7 Sorry, but I'm full on threads for now.
Fallon's eyes remained on the table surface, barely moving as the lad mumbled an apology. She was done here anyway, she'd rather wait outside in the cold than sit around with this fool next to her. Standing, she straightened. Her shoulders rolled back, her chin lifting as she looked upon him. To suddenly go from demanding to that of buckling was something that raised suspicion. But, then again it could have simply been the nagging formation of paranoia and drink in the back of her mind.
Hitching up the strap of her bag she heaved the weight onto her shoulder, the rest of her equipment following shortly behind. There was no use waiting for Egyptus any more so she may as well move on to their previously decided meeting point. Time was wasting after all, and she was in no mood to wait around anymore in this establishment. Loaded up she gave a snort, "No thanks. Not thirsty. And I'm leaving."
Get away from it all, preferably before things turned ugly. She did not want to draw blades, but if he pushed her the wrong way then she would have no choice but to react. Pivoting on her heel, she watched Orvin pull after her, the swishing tail as he gave a step. With the beat of boots upon the floor, she made her way to the exit with only a quick glance back over her shoulder at him, "Put some snow on your head. It will numb the pain."
Pressing her hand against the tavern door, she sucked in the last of the warm air and then stepped outside into the winter cold beyond. It was time to move. It was time to act. And no one was going to stop them now.
Fallon is a Master of Intimidation, "At this level, a Master intimidator often unconsciously intimidates their target unless the intimidator monitors their stance, tone, and actions to prevent this. Master intimidators will nearly always have a reputation that precedes them unless they have taken special care to prevent it."
