Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatt. I have been lemming Fantasy Fire for so long I've practically forgotten about it lol. Darned Unicorn Pee and all of its majestic lemming inducing magicalness. Oh man, I hadn't even thought of asking international Mizaharians...that is genius. We must coerce/beg them for out-of-states goodness!

A few pics of these neutrals would be good. If you're worried about glitter base you could either mix some glitter base in with the pigment or add in other polishes, which is what I sometimes do to boring colors. It's quick and easy and has much more reliable results than pure glitter, though not as customizable sometimes. But yes show me these duds And I can select some glitters to take pics of so you can see which ones you like (I can throw in some surprises too).

No worries at all about shipment dates, whenever works best for you. That mortgage business sounds like a right headache @_@ Hope it all works out, and perhaps we can swap as a sort of celebratory "yay you got through that hell!" dealie haha.

Hello. My name is Toast and I'm a Polishaholic.

Just stumbled across this thread and I'm glad I did. My name's not legally Toast, but I've been going by it online for years now and it's familiar to me. I never was much of a makeup person, but last month I finally found a foundation I absolutely love (Covergirl Tru Blend in shade L3). It's a bit thin, but it's the perfect color with just the right amount of coverage for me. So I splurged...and now I've got foundation, concealer, and powder. All three of which are wonderful.

I recently moved from Connecticut to Ohio. Unfortunately in the process of moving I lost about half of my nail polish collection. Wouldn't have been horrible, but I had a beautiful OPI glitter that I don't think they make any more since it was from a movie collection. Threw out all my old polishes and I'm starting fresh.

Favorite Individual Polishes In Your Collection: Sinful Colors Let's Talk, which is a shimmery purple. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews for the brand (the texture of their polishes varies a lot from one bottle to the next), but I'm extremely fond of this shade. I usually wear two or three coats of it. Sadly, it's more of a frost finish than a pearl finish, so to avoid the obvious brush stroke lines I have to wear multiple coats.
Collection Size: Formerly over 100 bottles. As of right now, I have maybe a handful.
Favorite Brands: OPI and Sally Hansen. Great colors, great quality. I'm fond of Wet N Wild's colors but I'm not crazy about the formula.
Favorite Finishes: Anything shiny. I'm crazy about holos.
Lemmings: I would gladly kill to get my old favorite back. It was a beautiful blue glitter with some gold in it. Though I've found similar colors, I can't bring myself to wear or buy them. Stupidly I don't remember the color name.
Finishes I hate: Strangely enough, I don't like glitter top coats. Polishes that have glitter in them, though, I love.

Favorite Other Beauty Products: I'm crazy about E.L.F. eye makeup. Took full advantage of their recent sale. Wet N Wild's cheap eye pencils are fabulous. My favorite mascara is without a doubt Maybelline Great Lash. Last bottle I bought of it came with an eye pencil I love.

Today I'm sporting a really pretty mani and I think its my new favorite polish. Its Finger Paints (Sally Beauty's Brand) in Surreal Sunset. You can kinda see it on my thumb below, but the picture doesn't do it justice so I'll stick a pic in right beneath to give you a better idea of the color.

Lately though I haven't been messing around with nail polish much. I have a new obsession. I've been on a waiting list for months for a bullet lipstick mold from TKB and I finally got the notice. My name came up and I got my mold and tons of pigments. I didn't actually film the process of making the lipstick (though it was super easy) but I can give you some idea of how professional this lipstick looks when its being made. I'm heading over to a friends house tomorrow to do some nudes and pinks.



Since I didn't post this when I should have but let it set on my computer, I've been to the friends house and back. We did a ton of gorgeous lipsticks and here's some swatches of my four favorites that I'm keeping for myself.

These might seem like unusual colors, but I have a slightly olive green skin tone and a deep tanned complexion with dark dark hair so I can't wear a lot of nudes and hot pinks. I wear autumn colors in lipsticks, things mostly called "raisin red" and that sort... so these are shades tailored to me!

If anyone is interested, I can show you how to do this.

I’m actually more into makeup products than strictly nails, but I’ve been getting more adventurous with my nail polish lately. At this moment, I’m wearing my first ever glitter top coat (Pixel Perfect – a hex glitter) on a Sally Hansen Plum’s the Word I’d actually regretted buying at the time. I couldn’t find a photo of this combo online, so I took my own! It's actually pretty true to the actual color.

Ignore the messy painting, I took this before cleanup so I’d have a record before I got imprints all over it. It's funny, I realized after finishing that it matches my pajama pants, only to tear a big hole in those same pants later that night...

Favorite Individual Polishes In Your Collection: My two go-to colors are definitely Antiqued Bronze by Sally Hansen and Mulberry Street by NYC. The Antiqued Bronze is particularly great because it’s so thick that I only need one coat to be done:

Collection Size: Tiny collection here... Just 15 or so colors in a fancy little tin container.

Favorite Brands: Sally Hansen, and that’s…it… Haven’t really branched out much.

Favorite Finishes: I’d love to try a true matte or satin one day, but haven’t found one… I like duochromes and good old fashioned creme finishes in general.

Lemmings: Alas, don’t have one yet.

Finishes I hate: Anything with streaks. I don’t know why, I just hate seeing the brush strokes. I also don't personally care for neon. I really don't mind it on other people, and some people can really rock it, but it's not my bag. Oh, and crackle coat. I had an ex-friend who wore it all the time and maybe she was just wearing it wrong, but it always looked caked on and cheap.

Polish/Beauty Blogs I Stalk: I’m an avid redditor, so I lurk the Makeup Addiction subreddit. I also watch Lilith Moon on Youtube, and while it's mostly hair tutorials (got dat long hair), she has makeup videos on occasion.

Favorite Other Beauty Products: I have to admit, I decided to stop lurking here to yap about one particular product I found the other day…. Exuviance ColorBlend. It’s a pretty pricey concealer ($22ish for a little bottle), but I was shocked at how nice it is. I actually wasn’t entirely sold on it when I left the store because they didn’t have any testers in my shade, but I tried it out in my car and holy cow. My skin was looking pretty bad at the time – I’d tried out (and rubbed off) a couple different blushes, and I’d rubbed off most of my original concealer/foundation after a stressful day at work – so I was looking pretty rough. After accidentally squeezing out a little too much (a little goes a long way with this stuff), I decided to just throw it everywhere on my face. Bam, lovely matte coverage all over the place. I was tempted to go back in just so I could tell them how great the stuff was.

Alright this is long overdue, and my apologies for not being more on top of things to send out care packages sooner rather than later. But I'm slowly knocking down things one at a time and can at least give an update

So the bright side on all of these delays is that I have, yet again, acquired more hoards of stuff to include in care packages if they are desired. The first are a bunch of soap, sugar scrub, and body butter samples in these painfully adorable shell packages that I got from Sebastien's Nook via Etsy. I only paid for shipping and the ever lovely Michele sent me all these great samples! I'm definitely going to make it worth her time and trouble by buying the full sizes, because these not only smell divine but as far as I know work great as well. I've tried some of the oatmeal sugar scrub and it leaves my skin feeling + smelling so nice. Can't lie, I'm addicted.

I'm sure there are other great brands/types to try out there so seriously, if anyone has a favorite do share. I'm hooked on this stuff! I used to sneer and scoff at all those people lingering in wholefood stores...until I became one of them, sniffing all their soaps and oils and other heavenly goodies.

The second set of random items are eye pillows. I saw one I really liked in a store, cringed at its $20 price tag, and decided I'd just make my own. They're really easy to make, just rectangular mini pillows filled with flax seeds and various tea leaves I had lying around. Mostly I just use lavender and chamomile but sometimes I'll add some mango ceylon, earl grey, what have you just to get some variety.

In more nail polish related news, I've finally mixed some bottles of the chameleon pigment! I had to wear my big, obnoxious yellow and pink gas mask while I did it but at least the deed is done. I was super pissed because I somehow misplaced my last set of pigments (or perhaps my cat had batted it underneath some obscure and dusty corner) and these things are not cheap. But all I can really do right now is hope for the best, that it will turn up somehow.

So this is what I have so far, just testing them out in a simple luster base for pigments. I picked the most multichromatic ones available and for the most part they seem to work. For now though, I'm just going to let them sit overnight just in case they grow more potent or eat through the glass and explode or something. Then tomorrow once everything looks alright I'll test them on my nails and add other base colors to see how they change the chromatic effects.

The purple one is a bit hard to tell (it's supposed to have flashes of orange and gold and whatnot) but I'm hoping with a bit of patience and tinkering I can bring out those subtler hues more.

Hey everyone! Just giving this thread a bit of love, it's been a long time. I've been tinkering and pouring and mixing like a mad scientist and I have all kinds of weird creations to show for. Only thing is it was foggy all day and I had crap lighting, so no photo opportunities thus far. I promise however tomorrow I'll get a handful of picks up of my experiments.

And if you're reading this by any chance Jen, I haven't forgotten about care packages!
