54th day of Fall 511 AV

Bob was pretty lucky his employment offered him a place to stay even if it was that stinky, animal infested place known as Killroy's. The Wolf's Den at least was pretty far away from the Sunset Quarter which meant Bob was not burnt alive like he would have been if he was still living in the area. It was a pity though, the old lady running the place was pretty nice and if Bob could, he would find out if the fire was arson by some scumbag intent of profiting off the suffering of others. This was Sunberth and it was not below anyone to do something like that. Another part of Sunberth which was not affected by the fire at least physically? Tall Johnny's Casino. One of the best places for Bob to pass the time. He would have preferred to go to the Pig's Foot as usual but the problem with that place was a lot of grief striken people looking to drown their troubles from the loss of their homes with some booze and, it was easy enough to start a brawl with the emotions all over the place.

He wanted to take a look at the Sunset Quarter since the fire already stopped the day before but he would not go into that hellhole alone. Which was why he invited Zandelia telling her "it is going to be even more fun than our first date. A lot less slavers!" Maybe a few thugs here and there that he needed her to protect him from though so "you know I won't be able to do anything without you and your lovely body" full of violent and bloodthirst. There was a lot more convincing done but that was the gist of it and Zandelia who already knows Bob pretty well probably already knew what he actually wanted her to do but "petchhhhhh" she was being late. She better hurry up soon because Bob really wanted to leave soon. It can all be summarized with the cards he had on hand(01:07:33) ChatBot: Bob_Barton rolls 2d13 and gets 5,4. which while not bad were not good either that had a stake of one measly gold, which has been steadily decreasing from the start. The biggest card right now would help him win and he wanted to call for one more but before he could do it the dealer revealed his cards(01:11:00) ChatBot: Bob_Barton rolls 2d13 and gets 1,11. and it was Bob's loss sadly enough.

Again his eyes searched Tall Johnny's to see if he could leave yet. Even more than ever now as he just ignored all the men and looked only at the people who had a lot flesh out the chest and rear, especially the chest since this was Zandelia that he was looking for. After he has admi... analyzed the distinguishing parts, Bob went to the face but no. None of the women had any scars on their face but if Zandelia did not show, he already knew the ones he wanted to spend the rest of the afternoon with. The dealer asked Bob if he wanted to play another round and "I guess I don't have anything better to do..." putting in another miza which got him...could it be? No, It was only a seventeen(01:30:58) ChatBot: Bob_Barton rolls 2d13 and gets 7,11. He had mixed feelings with this hand. While each time it came out in this game Bob had won, the only reason why he was able to keep the game even so far it was still a risky hand at least at this point. Pity he could only put in one miza but there will be other opportunities. Refusing to take another card, Bob waited for the dealer to reveal his eighteen?(01:31:08) ChatBot: Bob_Barton rolls 2d13 and gets 8,12. "Petch you" Zandelia. This is all your fault...

Zandelia had been through much unnecessary hardship in the last 24 Bells of her life, undoubtedly some of the more gruesomely memorable ones to her though she wished it to be otherwise. The fires that had raged throughout the Sunset Quarter of the city of Sunberth were sure to be remembered for years to come, their destructive forces and searing heats emblazoned for all time upon its cultural memory. She had heard that in the wake of such devastation they had found that more than homes had been put to the torch, scores of bodies, their roasted flesh sickening in their pungent aroma unearthed from many of the piles of ashes. The owner of the orphanage, along with the orphanage itself had also been destroyed in those fateful hours and Zandelia could not see it being replaced any time soon – essentially condemning the parentless of Sunberth to a much harder life than they had endured before, or at least the ones now still alive.

Poor bastards, being forced to sleep in the mud and live off the charity of less than charitable people. How many will become slave? How many will be abused? Poor petching bastards she thought to herself as she strode through the streets towards the more devious and darker parts of her home town.

“Still, no sense letting things go to waste,” she muttered to herself as she stalked onwards towards Tall Johnny’s Casino, “and I could use anything I can get. Shyke, might even be some thugs I can get something out of. Bob and his damned plans” she continued to utter, her mind going over the night before.

She had been asleep when the initial screams had dragged her from the depths of blissful oblivion. She had not known what was going on at first, assuming it was yet another unfortunate soul getting raped or being killed for their coin. It was only when one voice turned into dozens, their fear driven in unison towards one goal – fear. She had dressed swiftly, donning clothing, armour and Shadowsilk Robes in the darkness by memory. She had equipped herself as if ready for yet another word running job before wrenching her tent flaps aside irritably. It was only when her single eye had glimpsed the orange glow upon the horizon, approaching fast indeed, that her own fear had attempted to consume the very heart of her being. She had stood, dumbfounded for a few moments as the inferno drew ever closer before her brain had forced her into action. She had run back into her tent and gather up everything of value within – her papers, her books and her money. She had shoved it all into her backpacks leaving the hooded lantern on top before sealing them and throwing them over her shoulders. She had all but dragged down her tent and merely carrier it in her arms, poles and all, as she ran for her life straight away from the fire and out the other side of the Sunset Quarter as fast as her swift legs had been able to carry her.

And from there I had watched Sunberth as it had burned, safe from the flames but still having to avoid the stampedes of people streaming away from the damned place. Not to mention the bloody thieves too she thought as she stepped into Tall Johnny’s and parted the crowds with the dark look upon her face.

“I’m not in the petching mood for morons today you whore loving bastard, so get the hell out of my way before I kick ten barrels of shyke out of you” she growled at the bouncer as he attempted to block her way. Her look must have been dark indeed as he had merely shrugged and backed away along with the few others.

She looked around and found Bob exactly where she had expected to, gambling away his coin on the cards at the table. She saw no profit in such games, not when it was so obviously rigged for the players to lose most of the time. Still, each to their own was her philosophy. She had her puzzles, secret and riddles whilst Bob had his cards, dice and bets. She was not sure which was the least dangerous for the most part and had little heart at that moment to think upon it further. She merely walked up to him, her hood covering much of her face and the equipment she had throw upon herself the previous night still upon her then. Cold iron gauntlets, all of he weaponry and the rope at her side. She wished she could damned well just hang herself with it.

“I got your message Bob, now what is it you wanted? I’ve had a hard time getting my new home set up after last night and have not even had the opportunity to wash so it had better be bloody good” she merely stated by way of greeting, her ash streaked face telling him all he needed to know as her emerald green eye echoed both sadness and rage in equal measure.

And still she took her own sweet time in coming. Bob did not have much else to do than to continue on so he took two more cards(11:18:10) ChatBot: Bob_Barton rolls 2d13 and gets 9,9. and it was an eighteen. Finally! "Is this your chance for redemption?" he asked the cards and looked at a stoic dealer who had no hint of emotion in him. Bob tried to have a look and figure out what cards the dealer would have but he could not tell a thing. "I am good thank you" he told the man placing his cards on the table expecting the dealer to pick another card like all the other players but instead he just said it was time to count the cards and revealed his winning hand(11:18:13) ChatBot: Bob_Barton rolls 2d13 and gets 11,12. yet again. Zandelia was right! There was no profit to be had here because Tall Johnny had rigged the cards obviously. There was no other explanation for Bob's current losing streak as he would not blame his own skills, or that Ovek had a thing against him. He could try blaming those twins but then looking at the mark on his hand, he felt they would know when he did and thought better than tempting Kelwyn.

Bob was prepared to give up when he heard Zandelia come up close to him. Ignoring her sadness and rage he gave a smile telling her that "you came at a good time honey." After that day with Delgarde, Bob thought it funny to keep up the charade of their relationship as a running gag even if the both of them hated it. Bob was scared of Zandelia of course, even after he learnt to trust the ex-slave a little but it still did not mean that she was immune to his little ways of amusements as with all of his other friends. "Come here..." he told her gently as he reached out to send the facedown cards towards her because he wanted her to "blow on them and be my lady luck." A lot of the other people on the table were annoyed as well and would like nothing better than to get at Bob but could they with the scary looking woman Bob introduced as his special lady around? The only other person who could stop this nonsense would be Zandelia herself but whatever she did, play along or give Bob a piece of her mind he would tell her that "this is what I love about you" and reveal his cards. This annoying the others? It could be said a strategy in itself.

He was quite confident this time although the cards were same(11:38:04) ChatBot: Zandelia rolls 2d13 and gets 11,8. as before but with lady luck on his side he was confident "I am not only going to get back my losses, I am also going to make more than I came in with!" which was why he went and put all the gold mizas that he should have made up to this day with his work in Killroy's as soon as he introduced Zandelia as his lady luck earlier. Everyone's shock was evident at his declaration with the gasps around the table but Bob ignored them challenging the dealer directly that "we should hurry this up. I have a date to get on with" raising his hand towards Zandelia to present her to the table again unless she had been playing along all this time which would result in Bob pulling her closer at the waist. Bob's challenge paid off when the dealer was forced to take one more card(11:35:40) ChatBot: Zandelia rolls 2d13 and gets 4,10.
(11:36:12) ChatBot: Zandelia rolls 1d13 and gets 9.
for himself and akin to all those who had opposed Zandelia during her own dangerous pursuits of puzzles, secrets and riddles, that last card was like a dagger plunging into the dealer to finish him off.

"Now shall we?" Bob asked Zandelia hand raised after collecting his winnings because he wanted to leave before any of the dissatisfied gamblers had the idea of jumping at him. He would rather take his chances with the desperate souls in the Sunset Quarter any day in comparison especially when it would be easy to break off any motivation they would have in attacking when it was for survival instead of profit. Out in the sunlight Bob finally noticed Zandelia's face was full of ash but as he never actually cared to find out where she lived, thinking the only thing important for him to know was how to contact her he decided to correct her on the mistaken assumption she had that "no, we are not going to infiltrate today so you should clean yourself either way." It would not do for Bob to have a woman by him looking like an impoverished slave even if that was what she was in the past. "All I want to do is check out the Sunset Quarter. You will never know what you can find after a disaster but I guess you yourself would be curious." All Bob wanted was a little amusement but he knew that Zandelia was always on the lookout for information.

They barely reached the entrance to the Sunset Quarter when the signs of chaos were evident. People running all over the place, shouting at one another if they were not already savaging each other. Holding on to his cane tightly in anticipation, Bob told Zandelia "we should stay close to each other. Don't want any of those people getting at us because we appear weak" and whether Bob meant his size or Zandelia being a woman would only be clear when he told her "well...ladies first" even if only to save his face he added at the end "I will make sure no one gets you at the ass unless it is me." She should know by now that that statement meant she was as safe as Bob was able to fight since Bob already hinted how he was not interested in her despite the way he has been displaying their relationship for his sick and twisted sense of humor.

Zandelia tolerated Bob’s little charade with barely repressed apathy, something which came very unnaturally to her outside of her experiences with the short stack of strange goings on that Bob Barton personified. She disliked having to act as if she were his partner, the biological mechanics of such a union all but mind boggling in the first instance, but most of all she detested the raised eyebrows and sidelong expressions that were thrown her way each and every outing she embarked upon at the small man’s request. She mildly blew upon his cards at his request, a smile upon her face proclaiming to all her love for the dwarf whilst the secret message lay there for Bob to see – bloody murder should events continue down their current course. She knew that he would read between the lines even as she put her arm around his shoulders lightly and pinched her thumb and forefingers together over the muscle there, slightly harder than necessary but knowing it would appear an act of attraction to those around her, the true physical message for Bob alone.

If this is what you called me for Bob it shall be a cold day in the river you spend instead of a warm one in a bed with me she thought to herself with bitter force as he finally got the message she was emanating to him and resigned from the gambling table altogether – slightly richer perhaps than when he had begun.

“I do hope you’ll be splitting those winnings with myself and lady luck Bob darling. I would hate to think she would abandon your side” she hissed at him as they exited the casino and meandered down the roads and towards the Sunset Quarters.

It was a fairly short walk and it afforded Zandelia the opportunity to listen to Bob’s words and count each and every time he chose to insult her for her own future reference, revenge being oh so sweet when given time to build up enough to overflow even her mental boundaries. Their route took them to the south at first, following the eastern wall of the Gated community, territory belonging to the Sun’s Birth and if Zandelia knew anything much around Sunberth she expected that to be contested very soon. Her investigations around all of the taverns and surrounding streets of the city had led her to know that weapons were amassing in the armouries of both major gangs, their conscriptions practises far more routine and their grunts already increasing their skirmishes with each other as the weak fell and the elite were the survivors, seasoned veterans as many times over as possible. As they curled to the west, still following the Gated Community and its walls the destruction from the previous night was apparent to all.

“Bob, if you make reference to me having to clean up again I will dunk your bloody head in a pool of ashen water. I’ve spent all night moving my tent away from that petching inferno and fighting of thieves. If I look haggard it’s because I’ve beaten off more than I thought I would need to” she merely responded casually, trying to keep the façade of nonchalance as the memories of flame and dry heat upon her face came flooding back.

As they continued their walking she could see scattered tents already being erected, the survivors gathering random pockets that she presumed would join together quicker than any could expect – creating yet another futilely flammable mass of canvas. The muddy ground was churned, all evidence that pointed to both mass movement and the initial stampedes of flight away from the destruction only a handful of hours ago. Many were the stragglers whom wandered around the desolate landscape as if they had no idea where they were, shock still ruling them and causing pity to rise up within her chest, however briefly. There were other less savoury character, however, and she could count at least a dozen freelance ‘re-claimers’ already roaming the ground of devastation. She merely nodded at bob’s words, well aware he would be only marginally useful in a pitched battle, and went first – his shield and as such expecting some decent profit from it.

“Alright then Bob, I’ll lead the way but you can petching direct us where to go. I’ll be too busy watching for these bastards and making sure they don’t sneak up on us to see everything of value in this charnal house,” she muttered as she pulled out her tonfa and held them firmly within her hands, “and one more thing. Make sure you focus more upon the ground and less upon my shapely ass. I’m in this more money not to be ogled at” she finished, turning her attention to the surrounding thugs and cut-throats. She took up a threatening walk, making sure her tonfa were easily visible to all so as to dissuade any would-be attackers.

This better be bloody worth the trouble she thought to herself as she tried to keep her senses as sharp as was possible.

Zandelia is never going to get a man at this rate. Why did she have to be so rough? "Can't you take a joke? I know you like this anyway" he told her on their way because even if not the attention, "did you see the look on all those other fool's face as soon as you came in?" Lady Luck she may or may not be but it was enough for Bob to take advantage because anyone would quiver in fear at the face of the devil. A devil which showed her true colors shortly after when she tried to extort some money out of her (un)fortunate companion. While he could just give her some for her help and willingness to follow today, Bob knew one of the ways to turn her off, telling her "of course I would share my winnings with my lovely ladies. Would I say dinner for three? I would of course sit in between you and the Lady Luck herself but you don't mind sharing for the sake of our mutual attraction to one another right?" There was no such thing but it did not stop Bob from suggesting it and if it failed to dissuade Zandelia he could try and get that warm one in bed. "At least it will be better than that cold and lonely tent of yours." Just how could she deny herself from some Bob? It was already their first date at Delgarde's when she told her secret that she was a slave.

And if she could tell him that, she should have told him she was stuck in the fire earlier so Bob could keep quiet about it. He was not inhuman enough to poke fun about something serious like that "So...how are you doing now? Is it alright for you to return now?" he asked with a little concern in his voice before returning to his jovial tone that "my offer tonight still stands if you are up to it. Delicious food, warm bed, good companionship" he offered with a bow before continuing it "sounds pretty good for you to accept I hope. We don't want the both of us getting disappointed just because you are a little shy." The fact that he could think that Zandelia is shy was enough to make him almost burst out with laughter and laughter at this time was the best thing Zandelia could use. That or people to beat up on which would not be Bob now they have come across some small time scum looking to make a quick coin out of those unable to protect themselves. "Really Zandelia, you should just reconsider this dump for a few nights with me until this is all over."

To make the day better, some fools decided to strengthen Bob's case when both came knives out demanding for mizas and the woman. Bob gave a laugh replying "if you want that, you should know she is only in it for the money" which brought them laughing as well before asking what would stop them from taking her away anyway. Bob simply answered "what makes you think that I can walk around with something like this..." holding his hand out to present her from top to bottom "without having a way to keep her?" A daring suggestion which could only succeed when his djed worked with his words. The same djed Bob started gathering as soon as the knives pointed at his direction, buying time for him to gather it to his mouth with longwinded statements and over the top gestures. In their heads the two muggers would be thinking that maybe, just maybe the reason was because Bob had the support of powerful people in Sunberth when all he had was djed supporting those same words.

Seeing they were thinking things through Bob reached into his coat and felt for his whip telling them "I have something to show you what I mean" and once he held both ends of the whip together he swiped it out of the coat, the folded whip making its mark on one of their faces all red as it expanded to deliver the force of Bob's quick movements. With the surprise attack having an effect in stalling the pair, Bob stepped back a few times putting Zandelia right in the middle and taunting their new adversaries "I bet even she could take you on" and allowed the now unfolded whip to dangle on the ground. Since one of them was still dealing with the shock, Bob decided to keep the other one occupied and lifted up the whip whispering to Zandelia "have fun" as he seen her handling the slavers, with a smile on her face and held up the whip in preparation for another attack taunting "just try it" although he was only waiting to see if they would fight or flee.

“Enjoy a bed with you? No…I think you miss the point of enjoyment,” she returned wearily as she eyed those around them with suspicion, “I’d rather go to bed with Dira. It’s be my last petch after all so I’d enjoy it” she eased her hand towards her weaponry.

They look desperate, ready to bite at any moment. Scavenger dogs with little to lose means they’re willing to fight for what little there is. Sunberth! City of the scroungers she thought to herself as she tried to keep as many of them in view as possible.

To her everlasting relief a good many of them just shrugged after taking a look at her soot strewn form and walked off – assuming perhaps that she was merely returning to try to locate her own recently incinerated belongings. The muscles in her shoulders eased somewhat as she looked around in the refuse, there was plenty of ash around but not much in the way of treasure at first glance. Still, if she had learnt anything it was that nothing was as it appeared to be. Within the wreckage of disaster could be found innumerable things. Small things were best she reasoned and would easily escape the fires. Her head tilted as she looked around for somewhere to start – in the distance she could see a larger pile, as of yet ignored by the looks of it.

Or at least has more in it to look for she turned to Bob and was about to suggest the joint venture but instead caught him whipping the face of one of the men she had ignored previously – they were small things and would not manage to take her even if they wished to.

“Are you mad? You really want to start a fight…petch!” she cursed darkly as she pulled her tonfa out as two made their way towards her, weapons drawn. One was a new one who had slipped in on what seemed and easy acquisition.

She gripped the tonfa firmly in her hands, span them a few times in order to loosen her muscles. She was in no mood for this after the outbreak of fire and would just as soon as walked away but now there was little choice. She stepped to her right as one charge in with his dagger and avoided him completely before stamping on the back of his knee to bring him to the right height to whip her left tonfa around full force to smash into the side of his jaw. There was a sickening crack as he fell, bone broken and unconscious. The other had a sword and was thus more dangerous. He jabbed forwards at her and she swatted the bade away with a quick flick of her own weapon before swinging it back so that it rested across her forearms once more.

The circled and watched each other, she had hoped he would ealve after seeing his comrade fall so neatly.

“You don’t have to die friend, you can just leave”

“And leave such a fine piece of flesh behind? I lost everything in this!” he gestured wildly, eyes darting and feral, “I’ll sell you for a pretty penny you bitch!”

And that was when Zandelia smiled, now she had a reason for death. His eyes widened and outrage at the mocking grin shuddered through him as his face flushed red. He ran at her, swinging wildly. She parried with her left tonfa, flicked her right out so that it was fully extended and pushed him back a pace with the impact of her own jabbing return to his sternum. Screaming he attacked, again and again, and the sheer momentum forced her to dance backwards and then sideways as she tried to find an opening.

Let him tire. Let him use his energy and then when he is spent he will be weak. Weakness is stupid. He should know better she told herself as the blade whipped past her head as she ducked and threw herself to the side. She rolled as she came up to her feet once more.

“Come on them big boy, so far you’re all talk and no fun” she snarled, seeking to anger him.

It worked and he charged again, this time with a foolishly simple horizontal slash at her neck. As she ducked once more she flicked her right tonfa out to smash into his finger, the blade flying out of his grip and landing in the ashen mud. She stood and watched his last horrified expression before he brought the full force of the back of her forearm – tonfa lining it – into his windpipe. He fell and spluttered the last of his life into the ground. She looked around and saw Bob was still having his fun.

“Little petching…” she scowled and muttered to herself as she slipped behind Bob’s assailant and grabbed his head. She twisted and let him fall, “are you done? Good! I didn’t come here for games, I came for the promise of treasure. So…search the bodies and I’ll retrieve their weapons”

“After that there’s a large pile about twenty yards away. I suggest we start there” she spoke firmly and in a tone that brooked no argument whilst she was angry.

Bob watched Zandelia preparing herself to attack but unwilling to commit to it yet. Her second thoughts confused him as they both knew what was going to happen. It didn't take a madman to realize it and no, Bob was not mad or even mad enough to attack for the no reason it like most people in Sunberth or with bloodlust as their only reason like Zandelia. In his mind "its better for us to get this out of the way first" as he explained to her, pulling the end of his whip straight to his side on one hand and holding out the handle towards the two men. To be fair, what Bob really wanted was for the men to run off. Scared like they should be from the day's events. However that wouldn't mean he will be careless in expecting it. Like Zandelia, he readied his weapon. Planting his feet on the ground and keeping the whip tense, Bob was ready to again let the whip unfold whether it was the one that has already tasted it, or his partner.

And it happened not long after that... As Bob was watching the two for which one would lead attack, he saw the one he just whipped with the telltale signs. So infuriated with rage that Bob could not tell if the red face he saw was a result of his earlier attack or anger. Anger of the fire or Bob himself. However it was the anger that made the man easy to read as it told him who he needed to look out for. He saw the man baring his teeth right before tilting forward to charge in with the dagger. Bob decided to let Zandelia take care of it because if even he could spot it, the more combat experienced woman shouldn't have a problem. Instead he stayed his whip deciding to go for the person he saw being more dangerous. Unlike Zandelia, Bob had a more simpler way of determining who was more dangerous among the two. While they looked the same, Bob could see the differences between them very clearly. In his experience, bigger is a lot more better than smaller which kind of explains the outlook he has of life.

With his plan of attac-defence decided, Bob looked to the second man which was fortunate because he too was ready to charge in and follow his partner. Bob released his hand allowing the whip's end to fly forward with all the strength he has kept on it. Despite him pointing the handle towards his target already, it would seem that aiming for a moving target was harder than one that was standing still for him . The whip this time made a different sort of cracking noise as it hit air instead of flesh but Bob would not stop. Pulling the whip back towards him while he tried to move back he was able to briefly brush the man armed with the sword. Hoping his job was done he continued moving back in retreat. He was able to distract the man maybe even throw him off his attack against Zandelia but maybe she didn't even need it as shown by how she swatted the weapon away.

"She's right you kno..." Bob said before he was interrupted from going on to suggest the man should follow Zandelia's advice. Pretty much Bob was mistaken in his earlier expectation that the two men would run off in fear. The man was not only scared but he was also confused. The fire making them lose everything, they just wanted something. He suddenly understood why Zandelia thought him mad and the danger he was probably in. Bob's eyes darted around to see if anyone else would join in their scuffle somewhat relieved to see that everyone else had their own problems to respond to the man's screams even if it happened on a normal day. He was not going to take any chances. While Zandelia had everyone else's attention, Bob made his escape towards a group of tents he saw earlier. Wrecked, broken and burned the fire but nevertheless suitable for his purposes. He lifted the front of a tarp flat on the ground, slid himself under it and rolled on his back before pulling it down in front of him.

Under the tarp, Bob stayed still not even daring to breath for fear that even the slightest noise would tip someone off but he couldn't. It could have been the slight panic towards his circumstances, the mob of Sunberth did have a reputation or it could be how crappy the tents could be causing him to itch from the ashes and tarp but Bob fidgeted a little. While he became still and quiet again after it was already too late. He could feel the hands pulling on his legs trying to drag him out from under the tent. This was not being fun at all for Bob Barton and he did his best to try kicking the hands off his legs but it couldn't work. He was caught in too bad a position to actually have any advantage in this situation.

Thankfully Zandelia was already on it as she already took down the person that was pulling on his legs. "I'm already done with the games" from earlier at Tall Johnny's. The looting now was just a bonus or so he thought... It was supposed to be a simple grab of whatever he could get his hands on and he didn't even expect this...resistance if anyone could call it that. Yes it cannot possibly be called that as Bob thought to himself because while he was feeling the bodies for anything they might have actually saved from the fire, the men were right. They lost everything in the fire or... "hold on, what is this?" From the man he was being dragged by from under the tent earlier, Bob found plenty of weird items. Knick knacks, accessories, loose coins, and mostly shiny things from various sources. Things that someone would think as valuable on a quick glance. This made Bob think this person was not of the same group as the other two as he could not find any form of weapon on him. "Possibly..." a looter just like him, Bob concluded given the information he had.

"Yes, I think the large pile would be promising" Bob said considering the lean pickings he found on the person he thought a looter. The only problem is the large pile might have people there as well. More people like the three they just met! Bob was about to ask "don't you thi..." before he saw Zandelia's face and decided to just follow her. It looked like she was already on a warpath and Bob was not going to stop him. In fact, this might be a good thing if anyone else unexpected appears.
