Radi... Kouri must wear this form IC. It must happen! It is too cute for it not to be utilized! Much better than snake hair, though the snake hair is pretty awesome... >.>

Also, I listen to this whenever Anna is corrupting Kouri... dunno why, just fits to me.

Hahaha! That song is fitting indeed for the evil sorceress' ghost corruption session. What a convenient coincidence that it's Medusa's theme, the woman with snake hair.... or is it?!

So, I want to share to you dear readers about Kouri. She's my first character in Mizahar and the one I went through trials and errors with. I admit that I made quite a number of stupid mistakes while playing as her. Such as posting multiple grading requests of the same thread to multiple ST offices (Sorry, Accolade, Cloud, and Emblem!), posting replies shorter than 100 words *Shudders*, and I once thought god-modding is normal and allowed as long as the target player had no logical way of evading my actions! Imagine that. Suffice to say, I learned a lot how to properly Roleplay during my time with her.

Also, I was once confused when various STs who graded my threads gave Kouri XP in non-ghostly skills even though she didn't use possession while the lore stated it wasn't allowed, in all my audacity, I accepted those points and assumed the lore was outdated and ghost's could learn non-ghostly skills through non-possession. How wrong I was.... I regretted my actions. I should have discussed them with the ST graders instead of staying silent, but lesson learned.

My next two characters, Aka and Rachel, were made after I had some experience and while I'm not perfect, I can confidently say I made less... screw-ups playing at them.

This is a message to all the STs and thread partners I have involved with Kouri, I'm sorry for my mistakes and I sincerely thank you for giving sound advice so I can drive myself better with each day.

Lastly, this Music Gallery scrap post would not be complete without a song, no? I fancy some nostalgia so I'm going to repost one of the songs that defined Kouri, my dear phantom girl. Executioner from "When the Seagulls Cry" series!

Ahhh... Kouri. We all made mistakes when we just started out on Miz, but we learn and grow from those mistakes we made. Honestly, reading through some of your older threads and looking at you now its almost like reading a different person's writing. Honestly, I am tense with anticipation whenever I'm threading with you and just waiting to see what Kouri does next. I'm also comfortable plotting with you for the long term as you are obviously one to stick around.

I mean, seriously you got dealt a few bad hands at the start it looks like but you stuck on through. I might have been jaded about long term plotting with most people after going through what you did. Not many would have but you kept on keeping on and here you are today, with a lovely developed character, stable thread partners, and amazing writing ability. It just goes to show perseverance really is the key to success.

Yes, we all did at some point or another. It's best to learn from past mistakes, fix ourselves, then move on. It brings joy to my heart that I can provide enjoyment for my thread partners. I had people silently abandon threads with me in the past, they might be suddenly changing their mind after they agreed to thread with me, quite frankly, I'm saddened, they should have told me in the face that they didn't want to thread with me anymore instead of just leaving me hanging...

Indeed! Some of the many keys to success are not giving up and fixing past mistakes.

Also, Fire Emblem! I played them some of their games. Their OSTs are awesome!

I posted this song somewhere in this scrap a long time ago, but this one is the instrumental version of East New Sound's remix of Flandre Scarlet's theme, "U.N Owen was Her?". I like this, it represents twisted innocence and childish malevolence, perfect for Kouri.

I posted this in the Syliras OOC thread, but I'll repost this here since it's a very important information regarding Syliras' lore but quite a number of players are still OOC-ly unaware in my opinion.

Oh, seems like some of you are still confused about Sylir's current state, yes he was dead, he was slain, but after the Djed Storm of 512 A.V, his son, Glav Navik, ascended as Reborn Sylir!

So that explains why now all full-fledged Knights have Sylir Gnosis marks on them, the actual effect is still in-development.

Here is the long thread about the Djed Storm, just read the first few paragraphs for proof. I'll also quote it here for your convenience.

I had a thought regarding my ghost girl, reading Sigrun's Scrapbook Post regarding mental disorders inspired me to analyze the most detached out of all my PC trio, my ghost girl, Fubuki Kouri Snowsong.

I can safely say that Kouri has severe Conduct Disorder. Quoting from Wikipedia,

Conduct disorder is a psychological disorder diagnosed in childhood or adolescence that presents itself through a repetitive and persistent pattern of behavior in which the basic rights of others or major age-appropriate norms are violated. These behaviors are often referred to as "antisocial behaviors." Indeed, the disorder is often seen as the precursor to antisocial personality disorder, which is not diagnosed until the individual is 18 years old.

And one of its symptoms being "Lack of Empathy"

Lack of empathy :

Kouri is still very much a little girl with a child-like mind, stunted in growth due to her nature of being a ghost. She can still learn new knowledge, skills, and other things, but her mental development state is pretty much stagnant. In short, she's an eternal 12 years old girl... until she decides to reincarnate, though with her bound by a Grand Oath to Annalisa, it'd be impossible should Anna tell her not to.

Her child-like mind was forced to experience dark deeds that healthy children should not see, alienation, scorn, abandonment, betrayal, and even attempted rape (a long story). This shattered a part of her and combined with her immense ghostly power and utter lack of responsibility in controlling those powers resulted in a child that has a rather twisted outlook on the world, treating life and death as mere toys.

In essence, she's by no means evil or do things for the sake of power, evil, or hatred such as Rhysol and Uldr. She's a girl, who just wants to play, it's just that her views on 'playing' is very different compared to mentally healthy living young girls her age. Some people would say that she's shallow in personality depth, but it isn't so in my opinion, there's so much to her that could only be find out if you read her threads.

She can love and be loved, she can be frightened, she can cry, she can smile and laugh, she likes to be hugged and tucked into bed, just like most children. She could feel regret when she's deemed as naughty by the person she respects (e.g: Annalisa or Mistress Wanda). She craves for affection, she wants to be happy, but all this time, there's no one to guide her. The one group she respected, the Syliran Knights, one squire tried to rape her, while the other one literally stabbed her with his sword, that of course, shattered her views on good and "Knight in Shining Armor" concept. In her mind, everyone was out to get her, everyone looked at her as if she was a monster child, this didn't help, but now, at least by Anna's side, she could truly be happy.

Ah, if you managed to read through my rant, then I applaud you, you deserve a reward! Here, one of the sad tunes that Kouri sometimes hums to herself.

To my PCs' (Kouri, Aka, and Rachel) thread partners, I know I haven't been posting much as them, I'm sorry if I cause any inconvenience, I'm currently focusing in my mod duties to get Syliras back on its strong feet, better than ever!

The revamped and Shield Points and Bulletin Board should be a good start, now, as I said in the OOC thread, I will be implementing Seasonal Challenges starting next season (Summer 514 A.V), do those challenges and you will get a cool medal!

So, bring your PCs to Syliras! Or, make an Alt in Syliras! Join the Order, fight for honor!

EDIT: Also, don't worry, I don't blame/dislike you for god-modding my ghost during their first encounter! For me, it was fun, needing to think of ways to turn a terrible situation, into a not so terrible situation (^.^)
