This is your spritely new AS, Vice here, gripping at your souls and forcing you to do my bidding here to cater to your needs and desires!

I have a few ideas in mind for new places (we're in need of a distillery, aren't we?), and obviously, doing up events in the calendar, but I need help! Your help! Activity is Kenash is trickling, but I would LOVE for more people to come so I can smother all of you with much love and attention!

One such plan I have in mind, that's not in the calendar, is a wedding! (Sorry for the surprise, but the two lovers eloped very, VERY suddenly, even by our standards, so it's something that wasn't planned out from the get-go.

So, please (please please) encourage people to come to Kenash, twist their arms if you have to! and tell them all the lovely, dastardly things that are possible here!

And again, feel free to contribute! My PM box is open for every one and anyone that wants to put in a plot idea and see how the wild imaginings of Vice turns it into something soul-gripping

It has come to my attention that perhaps the etiquette for buying slaves is not fully understood. I'll happily explain ^.^

Firstly, prices for slaves are listed in the Auction House and these prices are specific to certain kinds of slaves. There's a scaling system involved that's listed in there. All of those prices are the go-to price for slaves, give or take a few mizas for the auction.

My recommendation, given the nature of an auction, is to start the bid out at approximately 50 GM less than the bid, (so for an unskilled human male it'd be 250GM) and work your way up. I won't accept anything less than 290, and that's for a rather scrawny git of a slave and points will be assigned to that slave accordingly (a higher bid makes for a better slave! ). All slaves in the first rung start out with 50 skill points that are left to my and/or any future ST's transgression. You're free to make recommendations based on what you want out of the slave.

Next, slaves that are to be house slaves or personal slaves will be more expensive. One never utilizes a common labourer slave as a house or personal slave, seeing as they are far more prized and treasured, and bound to be both more skilled and better treated than say, a field worker.

The minimum bid for a house slave will be the price listed for for the Skilled Human/Humanoid variety, with again, the skill set shifted accordingly. A personal slave will be more expensive and will be held with, at the minimum, the cost of a Skilled Human/Humanoid. Once at the rung of personal slave, you will be given much more freedom regarding your slave's skill set, seeing as this slave is geared to precisely what you want out of them and how they will be implemented. Keep in mind, though, that there can only be ONE level 2 skill at this price range.

As you invest more, your slave will be much better suited to exactly what you want out of them. Keep in mind that Kenash is a city where wealth is relatively commonplace and expenses will be paid in the manner befitting this situation.

Addendum: PC slaves will be valued higher than normal slaves, seeing as they have the potential to gain skills and lores that make them far more useful. I won't go into detail about pricing because this is conditional, but if you wish to buy a PC slave, a moderated auction thread will take place with the slave in question. Bid well, or you might not get the slave. So goes the way of the world.
