When people come across someone, who they think to be superior, they will try to bring them down. Instead of idolizing them, the masses might try to imitate this kind of behavior, and there are many who are intolerant and might influence others into this thinking as well.

may become something more than expected.

The young serpent came to a realization,
he would not be able to reach the sun, as of now.
The young serpent was filled with willfulness
and did not mind his slow progression in the world.
The others like him sought power and grew much stronger than he was
but he did not mind, or care.

The others only saw his faults and did not accompany him in his journey.
He continued to try to reach the sun and discovered something more.
Eventually, he found himself within the heavens, above all those who sought only power and lingered within their greed.

He no longer sought after the sun because he no longer needed to try to grasp something.

That was already within his reach.
