Day 20th of Spring, 514 A.V.
Reven walked past the main gate, heading into the direction of the Red Diamond Fashions shop was located at. She was nervous working there since it was such a well known shop and worked endlessly night after night to better her ability at manipulating leather and crafting it into fashionable pieces. Needless to say, Rosela knew how to put the pressure on her without having to do anything but look at her. Reven didn't mind it. She enjoyed a challenge when one presented itself to her but stressed endlessly to insure the leather garments looked good enough for not only the Kelvic to wear, but Rosela as well. If the boss didn't like it, then it wasn't good.
And good wasn't good until it was perfect.
Stepping into the shop, Reven looked around for any sign of life. The young woman figured the shop had just opened and decided to take a look around before greeting the women. The Kelvic had been completely broke up until a few weeks ago after selling her condo and moving into the Sanctuary. The money she received, however, was spent on a number of items to assist her in working and crafting with leather material. Not only that, but the huge pelts she had to buy from the shop were not cheap and took away a good chuck of her money. It was well invested because after her constant work with leather, she chanced upon a meeting with Rosela to discuss crafting leather garments for her shop.
The Feline readily accepted and so, here she was.
Inspecting the clothing out for display, Reven admired the craft and skill put into each garment and wondered how many nights Rosela slaved away over the fabric. As her thin fingers pinched the fabric of the top, rubbing the soft material into her thumb and index finger, Reven couldn't help but expect the same perfection from herself. She didn't want to be looked down upon or sized up for an idiot when it came to creating garments. And Shyke if she was going to be a burden upon the business itself. Gazing around the shop, the Kelvic woman promised herself she would be so good at producing leather items for the owner, she would be nearly irreplaceable. Now she just had to figure out how to manage her chores at the Sanctuary, produce leather items for Rosela, while finding time to not only hunt game but practice her craft as well.
A sigh parted her lips. She would solve the issue in due time. But as of right now, she was set on making an impression today. Reven even brought with her a bear's pelt she'd purchased which was currently rolled up and tucked against her thigh. "Hello?" She called. "Ms. Rosela?.. Anyone?" It was oddly silent. Where was everyone?
OOCHey, so we're all wanting to do a job thread so I figured we could do one together as a team. I know the opening post is a little short compared to what I normally do but trust me, the next time will be longer.
