* Physical Description
Talos is five feet tall and built like the rest of his race. Being a member of the Coglias family meant that he would spend most of his free time body building and it shows. He has reddish brown hair and green eyes that off put each other noticeably. His left arm holds the mark of his race with its green hew and over large veins. He usually wears ratty cloth shorts and an open cloth vest both of which are gray in color.
* Character Concept
o Personality - As distant and cold as the rest of his race, until you earn his trust. When he warms up to you he's very respectful and helpful. He would put his life on the line for the person who gained his trust and would be hard pressed to believe otherwise. He loves his work and has a decent since of humor, for his race.
o Ethics - Help those in need, even those not of his race. Innocence has no race.
o Likes - Wood and metal working, other dedicated Isur, true friends.
o Dislikes - Dishonorable people, needless destruction, the ocean.
* Character History
o Pre-Creation - Talos was raised just like every other member of the Coglias clan in the Isur race. While the teaching of Izurdin and techniques of the forge were never forgotten, they did come second to the perfection of his own body as well as the honing of his martial abilities. What ever lesson was given to him to learn it was always absorbed with the thought in mind that he would, one day, become a hammer of Izurdin. His father had been a Hammer in his younger year, before some hellish creature of the deep took his good arm. Now his father served as a a guard for the Coglias citadel. His father personally train him in the use of weaponry as well as unarmed combat in case the same fate might befall him. After decades of peak physical training Talos put his efforts towards becoming a hammer and caught the interest of those in charge of such things.

A few years in training paid off and Talos recieved word that he would be sent on a mission to asses threats in the farther reaches of the continent. Of course, that meant he would have to mingle with the seedier above ground races, but this could be his final task that could get him officially into the Hammers. Even if it wasn't he would still be able to hold his head high in service of his people. Before he left his father handed him an old longsword he had once used in the service of the Isur. Old was, of course, a relative term as it was a hundred years old and in perfect Isurian condition. Talos took the sword and held back the... emotion he felt and headed on towards his goal. The journey to Syliras was a long one and reletivly uneventful but that was to be expected as the caravan was made up almost entirely of Isurian guards and could handle most anything the main roads could throw at them. when he arrived he took almost a week to finally get settled in, every housing merchant he spoke to seemed to be lying to him and the whole experience only helped to fortify his perception of... outsiders. Once he moved his handful of belongings into the "house" and was ready for his first night's stay the rest of the caravan headed back to the Isurian homelands confident that Talos would be able to find his way back when helpful information was compiled.

If he hadn't held his current task in such high regards then perhaps he might have felt daunted but nothing would stop him from finishing his mission and when he returned perhaps he would finally achieve his true goal.

oh and i was unsure what to put in as my starting area as I'm unsure where everyone roleplays and My home region thread seems to be quite unused....
