As you can see, the Syliras Main Forum is now updated with new updated threads. Mainly the Shield Points, Wages Request, and Calendar. Also, I'm cutting down Syliras' 3 job threads requirement to 2 instead as most other domains - if not all - uses two.

Just wanted to say as a PC of Syliras that I appreciate all the work that you're doing for Syliras, Radient. I know it can't be easy doing all this work on your own. So I just want you to know you are appreciated.

On another note, Knights and Squires, the Shield Points have much more expanded positive points (and negative) lists now! See for yourself!

See? Being in the Order is very, very, fun! So, join today! Or be forcefull conscripted!... *cough* I mean, kindly persuaded.

P.S: I'll add consequences for negative points soon.

I'm not a knight but I find myself curious... Can you getr Shield Points for flashbacks? Like if you started as a Knight flashbacking to some earlier season post creation and doing a Knightly thing. Could that earn you the shield points? Do you get your +50 for doing your Knighting Quest if you start as a Knight and go back and do your Quest in a flashback?

Shane, yes, if the Flashback thread is technically created after 7th of October 2013.

E.g: Ser Lancelot IC-ly joined the Order at 490 A.V, then he created a FB thread in 495 A.V IC date (posted in 10th of January 2014), in this thread, he does knightly deeds, he will gain Shield Points.

And uuuh, you mean +200 points?

UPDATE: Yes, they can now. The FB thread must be modded like normal Knighting quests.

Oh, seems like some of you are still confused about Sylir's current state, yes he was dead, he was slain, but after the Djed Storm of 512 A.V, his son, Glav Navik, ascended as Reborn Sylir!

So that explains why now all full-fledged Knights have Sylir Gnosis marks on them, the actual effect is still in-development.

Here is the long thread about the Djed Storm, just read the first few paragraphs for proof. I'll also quote it here for your convenience.

Hi Guys.

Thanks Radiant for taking care of that little piece of nastiness Accolade posted. I'm sure it won't be the last. I will probably address some of it sometime in my scrap, but today I have busy bee rl things going on... its almost spring in the Northwest and its time for package bees to get ordered so I'm chasing down bee club people irl and getting orders assembled now that I have internet back. We had storms last night and lost net. I think Radiant posted a copy of the rant in the HD for those who really want to read it. But its kinda too nasty for public eyes especially children. I did find his response amusing though because I've been trying for months to figure out how to separate one of my PCs from one of his IC because of his OOC actions on other accounts. It's just tacky to be associated with someone who's behaving that badly other places.

In other news...

I wanted to talk a moment about Sylir. Glav Navik assumed Sylir's position, but he really wasn't Sylir reborn or anything. He just took his father's name to honor the position and sphere of influence. I'm going to try and have him in the Wiki all fleshed out by the end of the week so Radiant doesn't have to worry about it.

About Sylir's gnosis though. You guys should probably understand it centers around Conflict Resolution. By having Marks of Sylir (which no one should have even as a full knight unless they have a completely written knighting quest which to date I don't think anyone has had) your PC will know the core problem behind a conflict. At singular marks, it revolves around individuals and small groups. At multiple marks it revolves around communities and larger groups... on upwards through cities, regions and eventually globally. It will give you Syliran Knights an awareness of the world and its issues you didn't have before. The mark appears as an Windoak Leaf.

I hope that helps answer some quick questions some of you had.
