She is a very friendly person always on the lookout for new friends. Character History Age 5-15 : Eliza was, and still is, a very outgoing person. Her parents were very kind people. They had taught young Eliza to have manners and to be brave. She had many friends and was always smiling. Age 16-17 : Eliza's father, Arnold, became depressed after his mother's (Eliza's grandmother's) death and turned to alcohol and soon became an alcoholic. Eliza and her mother, Christine, tried their very hardest to get him to stop drinking. One day, Christine and Arnold got into a fight while he was drunk, the fight went on for about half an hour before Arnold grabbed a wine bottle and smashed it against Christine's head, damaging her skull and ending her life. Eliza saw the whole thing and stayed as far away from her father as possible. She didn't feel safe around him. The next day, Arnold woke up without any memory of murdering his wife. He soon remembered and started to freak out. He committed suicide about an hour later. Eliza was old enough to live on her own anyway, but now devastated that both of her parents were gone upset her. She stopped talking to her friends and spent most of her time at home. She lost all of her friends and Eliza was a loner. Now : Eliza finally recovered from her parents' deaths and was back to normal, though she didn't have any friends anymore. Now she is always looking for new friends and is always there for those in need.
