Faelia Appearance Race: Kelvic // Peregrine Falcon Gender: Female Age: Six years Birthday: The Fall of Year 508 AV Birthplace: Syliras Appearance: Perhaps the most noticeable thing about Faelia is her small size. She stands only at about a 5'4", which is considerably short among the Kelvic race. While her size may compromise her intimidation factor, Faelia has a certain sharpness and keenness very noticeable about her that isn't diminished with size. She's constantly watching, constantly wary about her surroundings. Her ears and eyes are always opened wide, listening, seeing. Character Concept Faelia is only a young Kelvic and still has yet to decide what she wants to do with her life. From her youth, she has met many travelers who only desired to explore all the lands of Mizahar. While the idea did appeal to her for a short time period when she was able to hear the stories of the adventurous who passed by Syliras, she later realized from the incident of the death of her sister that the world was a dangerous place, and that she would miss her family if she were gone for too long. Therefore, she now remains in Syliras, attempting to search for a stable job or a skill that she truly exceeds at to take up an occupation in. She also has a desire for the mastery of various languages, particularly Pavi. Along with languages, Faelia also desires to improve her hunting and poisonmaking skills. She is also preoccupied with her Kelvic roots and enjoys discoveries the capabilities her animal form holds. Character History Faelia grew up in a rather prosperous family, enjoying the comfort of friends, siblings, and family around her. However, at a young age, her sister died from an accident while out hunting, as she was hurt by predators. Although Faelia was not present to witness the event, the incident chilled her and served as a lesson both for her and her family to be cautious. This incident explains part of her personality, her tendency to always be suspicious and weary of her surroundings. The popularity of Syliras has also allowed her to be able to constantly meet new travelers and others who are passing through. In particular, her family was once able to host a traveler on his way to Endrykas in their home for a season when he injured himself in the wilderness. In this way, they were able to gain extra spending money. The traveler also spoke Pavi, and during his stay at their home, Faelia was able to pick up on the basics of the language. The traveler's stay at her home has fostered an interest in language for her, specifically to master Pavi. The dog, Nala, had grown up in Faelia's grandfather's home. As a young child, Faelia had always enjoyed visiting her grandfather because she would be able to play with Nala. It wasn't long until her grandfather passed away, and because she had been so fond of the dog, it had been dictated in his will that the dog would be given to her. The dog still is young -- perhaps only one or two years old -- though the exact age is not known. Because Nala has been trained to follow Faelia without running away, Faelia will usually allow Nala to accompany her on her walks to the bazaar or most other places in Syliras.
