Appearance Race: Mixed Blood - Benshira/Eypharian Gender: Female Age: 23 Birthday: 20th of Summer, 491 A.V. Birthplace: Ahnatep, Sauria  Physicality Navyri is of middle height (5'4") and an average weight, if a bit on the lean side. She is often dressed in attire that best fits her mood, even if not entirely practical. With dark hair and sun kissed skin, it is rather obvious she is of desert origin, or at least has spent a fair amount of time in the sun. Her eyes take after her mother, a bright blue that are striking against dark features, and her father appears more in her attitude and her confident walk. Character Concept Some would say Navyri is a corrupted mix of her parents. Like the Eypharians, Navyri is vain, taking pride in her exterior and going to great lengths to uphold her looks. She takes her father's craving for adrenaline and adventure, restless and never ending. Fancying expensive objects, bright colors, and sharp weaponry, Navyri has a plethora of interests. She has her mother's patience, but utilizes it for personal purposes. With Navyri being a half breed of two races that still hold tensions between them, when returning to the Ahnatep port, she was subject to particular discrimination from both sides. Some of the children, who previously she would have called friends, turned their back and openly scorned her. More times than once, Navyri has experienced this hate and it has molded her into who she is today. While more confident than she once was -- prideful, even -- Navyri does not allow others to grow close to her. Instead she prefers to stay alone, or if unable to physically, to keep an emotional distance. At the end of the day, she will do what benefits her as she rarely shows compassion for anyone, although she unexpected soft spot for smooth talking men. One never knows with the mixed breed. What will she do today? Defend you, or throw you to the wolves? Note: Because of Navyri's half-breed genes, at the height of her fertility every month, she produces excessive pheromones that increase her powers of attraction to other humanoid races. Character History Navyri's parents were not particularly wealthy, but they got by. Their well being was often determined by what they were able to see, and who they were able to reach. Nevertheless, Navyri has never known material struggle. Born to an Eypharian male and Benshiran woman, neither were dealt the hand of luck in their lifetime, at least in the eyes of anyone but themselves. When they looked upon their daughter, they were filled with pride. Her father was a travelling merchant who was practically one with his passions, sailing or riding around and selling his wares to those willing to buy. He enjoyed the adventure, the women, and the praise of exoticism he received from those he met. When returning back to Ahnatep's port, he saw some Benshiran slaves being sold. While he did not have much money, he had enough. Almost instantly, he bought Navyri's mother. He treated her well enough, enjoying her company on the long trips. At first, the language barrier was enough to drive him mad, but soon enough they began to understand one another and not long after, their daughter was born. Navyri grew up, traveling with her parents. Her mother tried to teach her Yahal's teachings but soon gave up when she left the faith herself. Instead, they taught their daughter what they knew. To seek knowledge where ever one may find it, to trust few (except the Gods, of course), and to embrace independence. Now that she's a grown woman, Navyri does her own thing, and is still moving around with her parents, however often vanishes once port or their latest destination is reached to find her own adventure. She will go off exploring until they set sail once again, in which case she then decides if she wants to stay or go. So far she has yet to be enraptured for long.
