Ryjaoka Windia Diamond Clan of Endrykas Basic Information Race:Mixed Blood (Dhani/Drykas) Birthday & Age :Winter 1 491av Gender:Female Physical Description Ryjaoka is a modest 5'11'' in height, while she carries the weight of 175lbs. Most of her body is covered in tone, lean muscle from her extensive training. She has a generous amount of thick black, curly hair that she keeps most often in a tight braid that cascades down her back. Her eyes are a serpents green given to her from the blood of the Dhani. Many would say that her viper eyes hold a sea of sorrow and mistrust; mixed with pools of honor and determination. Her skin is a smooth deep tan, adoring a large serpent on her back. Character Concept Rajaoka is an outcast among her people for reasons she does not know herself. She holds honor, loyalty, and bravery as a high moral code on her list, she feels that family is a must. She follows Drykas law when it suits her, but tends to rebel against the common role of a woman in Drykas society. She gives respect to elders and those more talented at the sword than she, and in return she demands the same respect. Her only friend that she has is her mount and often she finds herself alone while attending meetings or matters of the Diamond clan. However when it comes time for her to speak out she is quick to do so and demands full attention. Rajaoka longs to find a place where she fits in and can live in harmony. Character History Before Rajaoka was even born her father was lost to a battle against a Dhani male viper. Her mother was than tortured and abused as a lesson to the Drykas's to stay away from his clan. Rajaoka's mother suffered a great deal during the attack and ended up becoming pregnant with Rajaoka. Many in the village wanted the child killed upon birth, but Rajaoka's mother held strong and birthed her. Rajaoka since a young girl was exiled from the other children in her village, she was seen as dangerous and impure and therefore was often left out of most activities. Rajaoka mother was the only one to see her daughter as a beauty and she tried her hardest to teach her the values of Drykas's; but alone her mother found the challenge a hard and endearing task. One cold winters night while Rajaoka was asleep her mother went out in search of peace and help from the gods. Instead she found pain and death to the hands of an unknown threat. Many Drykas blamed the evils of the act on Rajaoka and her alliance with the Dhani. A fact that she knew to be untrue and outrageous. It was on that night that Rajaoka lost her ties to the village and began hating the very race she regretfully is. Since that time she has focused most of her mind and body on training to defend herself against her enemies. She keeps her mothers cross around her neck as a constant reminder that even the purest and most honorable of people can be killed without a second thought. Rajaoka likes to believe that she is fighting for her mothers lost life; but deep inside she knows that she is wandering to find her lost soul that longs to find it's way home. Family Vintula Vintula was an honored Emerald clan member, she was known for her skill in the long bow and her advanced knowledge of webbing. Vintula was a well off hunter and knew her way around the forest.She started hunting when she was young, obtaining the skills from her pavilion to be the best hunter she could. Her abdomen was marked with the wind symbol to symbolize her ability to move swiftly during a hunt and not be heard as the wind. Vintula's prized processions were her Strider Tendra and her late grandmother's cross, which she kept with her always.At the age of 18 Vintula married a strong Diamond man by the name of Maendre. Although, Maendre was 23 the two fell in love and hoped to make a strong, large Pavilion to look after. Vintula birthed Ryjaoka under hard conditions, but was the best mother she could be to the child. Until her unknown death only 6 years ago. Maendre Maendre was the eldest of son of the Pavilion Putere, an honored diamond clan Pavilion. Maendre was known for his abilities in welding the long sword and strength. He often was found taking care of his younger siblings when he wasn't protecting his Pavilion from their enemies. Maendre bore the mark of the tribal meaning of warrior. The tattoo graced the length of his shoulders and wrapped around his biceps. He first met Vintula when he was on in outing of the grasslands. For him it was instant love and soon the two married hoping for a strong pavilion. Maendre is Ryjaoka's step father by marriage, but has never known her dad; due to the fact he died before she was born. Talmut Talmut is known Dhani Viper that resides in the southern region of Taldera. He is most heard of for his attempts to befriend his next victims and using all he can to claim victory over them. He is extremely sneaky and quick when it comes to attacks and spares no time in killing the ones that stand in his way. Talmut is Ryjaoka's blood father, but he has never met or known of her. The night in which Talmut impregnated her mother,and killed Maendre was the last time he'd ever seen Endrykas. Parkas Parkas is the last born colt of Ryjaoka's mother's Strider Tendra. Parkas was a gift to Ryjaoka by her mother, but only if the colt accepted her and Ryjaoka on his back. Ever since he was born Parkas has been a trouble making Stallion that only bothers listening to Ryjaoka's calming voice. He is on the younger side of 6 and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Parkas tends to seek out other Striders and more often than not is friendly to most anyone. He wears a green beaded braid in his mane to signify Vintula's life to help and remind Ryjaoka that she's watching over her.
