Evalin was quite content with how the situation had turned. Heated voices, Senka upset, Aka defending her nuit 'lover'. Evalin could smile at the way the pieces fell so perfectly together, yet she did not. She simply leaned on her staff, eyes flicking between those that spoke, taking it all in, savoring the moment. Tasting the flicker of hatred from the constrictor as she realized she had lost this battle... At this Evalin could not help it, she smiled but quickly hid it with her fingers which she drummed against her lips. Then they larger group began to leave, and Evalin waved her fingers at their backs as they went.
Ah how amusing it is. A few words, a twist of logic and even a force such as this may be turned away. Doubt you me now my Dear Tsenrika? But she did not wait for an answer, for she turned to Aka, bowing her head as they were left alone, "Thank you Mistress. Your power and authority are truly something to behold." She extended her hand to lead the girl, turning toward the creature, "Perhaps Mistress... But first, let us see what we have captured."
She chuckled, almost giddy in anticipation. This excitement was so new to her. She felt like a child given a new toy to play with. This 'monster' was exactly what she needed, and nothing could ruin the moment... Or so she thought.
The nuit stopped in her tracks as she felt the ripple through her mark, and her eyes narrowed. Before their eyes the beasts body rippled, its scales wiggling and its body contorting. Its heads began to shring back, its tail dividing. its entire body twisted and stretched, folded and compressed in a terrible whirl of sounds and sights that was like watching its every bone break and shatter before reforming once more. It took several ticks, but then suddenly in the place of the serpent there lay crouched... another creature just as ugly. Five heads set on large sloping shoulders, one looked forward, two look back and the last two looked to either the left or the right. Its body was lopsided and deformed, random patches of scales and skin a sickly gray-green in color. its hands twisted and mangled, brown sloping and when it opened its mouth its tong was thick and forged. The head in the middle had it's eyes open, looking up at Eva and Aka. It was still trapped by Evalin's commands, and could not move or speak for the moment.
Evalin released Aka's hand, walking around the creature as she spoke softly, "Curious... A monster in beastly skin..." Evalin walked all the way around the creature, stopping in front of it. She extended one hand, his eyes catching on her motion and bringing his full attention to the nuit, "If you have a name speak it."
The man wriggled and moved on the ground, struggling it seemed to speak with his weirdly deformed, but finally he managed a simple, yet garbled, "Dresskal..."
"Ah!" Evalin clapped her hands together, looking at Aka with amusement, "It has some intelligence, just as we thought. How curious, how amusing it is. Not just a monster, but a being who may thing and act of his own accord... well when I would allow him. He shall be most useful indeed."
Picking up on the Nuit's Dresskal chuckled a bit stupidly, obviously not understanding what was being said. The middle head's eyes closed, and the head on the far end closed to Aka opened its eyes to look at the girl. curiously Evalin walked around and examined this head now, that looked curiously at Evalin as well, "In this form only one head at a time can act of its own accord... Curious, how curious."
Evalin was quickly becoming engrossed in this new toy she had found, taking obvious joy in her examining process and losing her sense of presence as her mind sunk deeper into the mystery at hand. If she were allowed Evalin could easily spend bells studying this 'Dresskal'.
