4th Day, spring, 514
Russell found himself waking up extremely early that day, maybe it was the excitement from the day before, or the headache that forced him to go to sleep earlier that day. He looked around and noticed that everything looked normal once more; he came a little too close the day before. But that only caused him to want to improve that much more. Russell could feel the need to do more magic, whether that was caused by left-over sweet whispers or his own thoughts didn’t matter to him. He just needed to get ready.
Russell stepped out onto the street once he had gotten ready, and he could somehow already tell things were amiss. He couldn’t tell what it was, maybe he was still a little drowsy that morning, but there seemed to be something missing. He couldn’t help but feel a little frustrated once he noticed what was wrong. The Ravosalamen where all gone, he couldn’t see a single one around, and it annoyed him. Russell had no need for them....Yet. But it was he always did like having the opportunity to travel around open to him, and losing the Ravosalamen did annoy him. He shook his head, he was just over-reacting. He had woken up extremely early that day, there’s no way they could be up and about at this time.
Or so he tried to convince himself, he had to walk toward the abandoned back-street area that was near the docks. It was still very early, and it was still particularly cold, Russell was glad that he had brought his coat. He couldn’t see anyone around, it seems as if he’d have to go deeper, Russell found himself wondering where the man from the other day had gone, maybe he’d been sold off as a slave. Not like Russell cared too much, he did find himself wondering why he’d given him money, but it was a small price to pay for advancing his skill.
While he currently could not find anyone, Russell decided that maybe practicing another skill would be more beneficial. There did seem to be quite a bit of rubbish lying around, and it was beginning to bother him as the deeper he moved in the worse the smell in the area seemed to get. Maybe it’d pay off to banish this all to the void, that did seem like a pretty great idea now that Russell thought about it.
