Appearance: Her hair is long and black, as most Vantha hair is, with tints of violet that appear when she stands in the right light. She takes care to keep it neat and out of her face by tying it in the back of her hair with a simple leather strip. The tone of her skin is a soft olive color, usually flushed from cold temperatures. Adi's features are somewhat childish-though her eyes are fairly small, they're usually wide open and flicking around, taking in all the information she can get. Her top lip is slightly thicker than her bottom lip. Her nose is petite and flares up at the end, revealing diamond-shaped nostrils. On the back of her neck rests something truly magical-a Gnosis mark from Morwen etched in her skin, a silvery snowflake that is much colder than human skin should be. Her eyes change color with her mood. The colors follow this section.

Personality

Adi has never had the same connection to ice and Morwen as most of her people. She prefers quiet and seclusion to noise and company. When given the option, she'll sit and pay attention from the shadows, taking in as much information as she can. If engaged in conversation, she'll do her best to get out of it as quickly as possible and away from the other party.

She has always been jealous of those close to a god or a goddess, and seeks to find a divine individual she can feel proud to worship. Adi feels that the divines have no love for her and wants to prove to them all that she's worth their effort.

Upon a first meeting, Adi is blunt and rather cold. She's fond of sharp, quick insults. Should she take a liking to you, she'll give you a nickname that is more often than not somewhat hurtful. She doesn't quite grasp ideas of what might be offensive to others. Her mouth runs faster than her brain, and things she might not mean spill out rather quickly. Once you've earned her trust and respect, though, she's loyal and caring, and she'd do a lot for an individual who means a lot to her. Being flirtatious isn't her strong suit, and she's uncomfortable around men she doesn't know well.

Lately, Adi's taken to consuming copious amounts of liquor in an attempt to distract herself from her past. When drunk, she slurs frequently and flirts on anyone in sight. She hates her intoxicated personality, but enjoys the way that alcohol makes her feel...so it's come to be a part of her.

Character History

Pre-Creation

Her parents-Nadita and Khoder Skyglow-allowed her to stay unmarried until she was almost twenty, when a suitor, Drasna Iceglaze, captured their attention. Adi despised him. He was a constant drunk and cared nothing for her, wanting her body for his pleasure and her womb to bear him children. She waited until night, packed a small bag, and fled towards Riverfall on her mother's horse.

She had to survive a long trip across Taldera and then Sylira, without the courage to stop in major cities. She had only a dagger for survival. Unfortunately, while trying to kill a rabbit with it, she aimed wrong and smashed it against a rock. The blade snapped, as did a bone in her right arm. She entered Riverfall on the 5th of Spring in 514 AV, arm still injured though healing slowly.

Spring 514
After meeting many people early Spring, Adi settled down and became a Kuvan, a resident of Riverfall. It seemed to her, for the first time in a long time, things would work out. Right after that, of course, she heard about Kenash and was instantly intrigued. So she did the only natural thing-sold her house, packed everything she owned, and took off for Kenash. She left Riverfall the 70th of Spring and arrived the 1st of Summer.

1. What is your Name? It's Adi. Adi, from the Skyglow hold.
2. Do you go by a nickname or pet name? You can't really make Adi any shorter.
3. How old are you? I'm 20.
4. What is your height? Five feet six inches.
5. What is your weight? A gentlemen never asks and a lady never tells.

Aesthetics :

1. Describe yourself as you see yourself. I'm me. Uh. Black hair, shiny purple in it. Color-changing eyes. The usual.
2. Describe yourself as others typically see you. I'd guess the same. I get flirted with a lot, and I don't quite know why. I'm nothing special.
3. What is your favorite body feature? My eyes. They change color!
4. How physically fit are you? I'm not completely out of shape, but I'm not very muscular either.
5. How do you typically dress and what is your style? Simple clothes, comfortable clothes. I prefer feeling comfy to looking nice. I enjoy dressing up on occasion, though!

Family :

1. Who are your parents and what are they like? My mother is Nadita Skyglow, and my father is Khoder Skyglow. They're okay. I never felt like I was good enough for my dad.
2. Do you have any brothers or sisters? No.
3. What is your extended family like? The whole of the Skyglow Hold is my family, and I guess they're alright. When I was in Avanthal, I didn't spend much time with them.
4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family? Depends on the friend. I've always thought the people you choose to be around with are more important relationships than the people you're forced to be around with, but my parents are my parents and I love them dearly.
5. Do you treat animals like family? Depends on the animal. I happen to love cats, and I treat them like people. Myaris, too.

Location :

1. Where were you born? Skyglow Hold in Avanthal.
2. Where do you live now? Riverfall. I've got my own place now, and that's honestly pretty great.
3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be? Honestly? I don't know where. I like it in Riverfall. I miss Avanthal.
4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time? None in particular.
5. Where do you fear to be? As much as I'd like to go visit the Sylira region, I hate the Rhysol fanatic thing going on in Ravok. So I'd probably stay far away from there. The deserts of Ekytol are absolutely not for me. I can handle the cold-don't love it like most Vantha, but it doesn't bother me-but the heat? Eugh.

Traits :

1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?) My arm was broken for a while. Nothing permanent, though.
2. Are you right handed or left handed? Right.
3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent? Vani and Common. A few words of Tukant. I don't really like my voice, but the Vani I was raised speaking carries over into my Common. It always sounds like I'm singing what I'm saying.
4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? My eyes are a pretty huge defining feature, I guess. My worst habit is probably playing with my hair. I've got a tendency to do that when I'm nervous.
5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them)? I'd love to have tattoos. When I pass my Kuvan test, I'll have the Kuvan symbol on my wrist. Don't know which one yet. And there are a few other things I have in mind...

1. What is your occupation? I'm a travelling storyteller.
2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why? It's alright. Reminds me a little too much of home to truly be fun.
3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be? I'd love to be a tattoo artist. Seems like a lot of fun.
4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why? The people who survive out of other people's pockets. Thieves! Takes a lot of courage to do that.
5. What occupation do you least like? Why? Not that I hate them, but the Syliran knights bother me. They seem like assholes.

Childhood :

1. What sort of child were you? I was always desperate to prove to my parents I was worth their time-mostly my dad. My mom spoiled me.
2. What is your favorite memory from childhood? I remember my mother would always sing me to sleep. She'd climb into bed with me and hold me and sing lullabies in my ears until I was asleep.
3. What is your worst memory from childhood? I wasn't a child when it happened, but the whole thing with Drasna tops the list.
4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents? Like I've said, I was always trying to suck up to my dad and prove myself worthy to him. I kind of ignored my mother for a while. Hate myself for it now.
5. Who was your most influential rolemodel? My dad, who was always pushing me to do better indirectly by never telling me what I did was good enough.

Education :

1. What sort of education do you have? Basic education. Nothing fancy.
2. Do you like/dislike learning? I'd love to learn more about the world, but I don't know how to go about doing it.
3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities? With the dagger, it was time and a lot of practice. Same with riding. Storytelling came naturally to me as a Vantha.
4. How do you learn best? Through doing.
5. What are your educational goals for the future? Right now, I want to learn as much as I can about the gods of Mizahar and figure out if I can devote myself to any of them.

Relationships :

1. Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not? Not easily. Not anymore, at least. I've tried and had things ruined for me.
2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not? No. The last person I told my life story to ended up abusing me.
3. Do you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Definitely straight. Don't have anything against people who go other ways, but I don't personally feel comfortable being with a woman.
4. Have you ever been kissed? If so, describe the first time. Drasna Iceglaze was my first kiss. He forced himself on me and tried to bed me. That was the night I ran away from home.
5. Have you ever had sex? If so, describe the first time. Uh. Yes. With T-no one special, okay? Stop harassing me about this!

1. Have you ever been drunk? If so, describe your first time. I'd rather not. It led to...embarrassing choices made.
2. Do you like to drink on a regular basis? Recently, yeah. Alcohol is an escape from the things I've done in the past.
3. What sort of alcohol do you prefer? I'm fond of rum and ale. Sailor's drinks, I know, but they're strong.
4. Have you ever tried drugs (mood altering substances)? If so, which kinds and what did you think of them? Drugs are where I draw the line. Won't do them myself.
5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Be specific. Alcohol is fine in my book. It's a means of escape. I don't like myself drunk, but it's a consequence of drinking.

2. Do you like to read? I've only ever touched books a few times in my life. I know how, but I'm slow at it.
