Quick question. Are you allowed to grade other player's threads in the same city as you?

Just popping in here since I have been helping grade some requests in the forum.

Sal, you are allowed to grade others' threads that are in the same city as you, but only if you have been awarded the grading medal. You cannot, however, grade threads of others' if you are a participant in said thread.

I can not seem to post in the spring character registration thread. My post keeps overlaying the thread, even when I don't use any coding at all (so I can't see it being a coding problem). Anyone have any guesses as to what is going on?

It may be that there's a coding error with someone else's post in the thread that's making it all go a bit wonky. It happens every so often

Shem, I believe I have found the issue and I will momentarily be contacting the player that has caused this. For now, I'll make sure to simply take note that you're registered. Until she is able to fix her post, I think it's fine for you to play. I will contact you when this has been resolved. Alses was right, and there's no biggy!

Just curious and might bring this up in my solo thread but what do the Shinya
guards look like? Would my character be able to see them or are they like ninjas
and can never be caught? Thank you for your patience ^_^

The Shinya maintain a very visible presence in the city

. Stealth isn't their primary (or only) weapon, after all. Elysium said in the past that they wield glaives and swords, and they tend to wear robes and plated skyglass armour. Here is a more detailed breakdown of the predominant colours each rank of the Shinya wears.

Usually I just describe them as wearing skyglass plate and serious expressions

Ah, the despised guards of the crystal city.
They patrol through the city, with more when night sets in. I usually describe them wearing robes and a sword at their hip. I didn't know about the skyglass plate though. And indeed, serious expressions with eyes that tend to linger on suspicious persons (totally not suggesting anything about a particular thief :rolleyes:

) But ninja's they are not I think. The same goes for the Okomo, right? They wander about the city and the streets freely, or is that incorrect?

I always think of Auron when thinking of the Shinya.

As for the okomo, aren't they mostly found on just one of the peaks?

Haha, thank you Alses, Brandon, and Sal for your answers they truly
helped me figure out my plans for the solo thread. Although they are not cool
ninjas, they seem aloof enough to be brought up as shady followers!
I was planning to mention the shinya in one of my posts following Winona and
since she's all eyes I kinda needed an image to figure out how to describe them.
