Physical Description
Sari is a Drykas woman through and through. Her skin is lightly sunkissed and given the normal bronzed look of her kin. Her eyes are a dark brown with flashes of green. Her long brown hair has natural highlights of gold and is usually kept up in an elaborate set of braids, however, she does wear it long and loose from time to time. She stands a little over 5'2" and possesses an athletic build, lean muscles showing under her skin when she moves, or is atop her Strider. Her back and arms are covered in soft freckles from spending a lot of time out in the sun. Her back also is the location of her windmarks, a large piece with many circular patterns in a dark brown ink.
Her clothing style tends to be simple yet colorful, wearing brightly colored clothing and pale tan leather cloaks and sandals. While she enjoys clean whites, she almost always wears vividly purple colors ranging from a gentle lilac to a deep, rich burgundy. Her tops tend to be tight fitting and strapless as well as usually exposing her midriff with the sides being tied tightly together using common Drykas knots. Her pant of choice tend to be loose and flowing, wrap pants being her favorite as they give her extra flexibility in them and are easily made. And her sandals are made of leather and usually lightly soled and not meant for lots of walking. When she has to walk a lot she tends to walk barefoot, her feet covered in callouses.

Character Concept
Sari is a spirited individual who has a lot of drive and ambition. She always seeks new ways to do something to expand on her knowledge. She has a deep love for horses and they are her passion. Her goals revolve around becoming a better horse trainer as well as rider and she hopes that one day she will be a well known Breeder within the Amethyst Clan. Being that she cares so much for horses, and any animal really, she has a deep hatred for those who harm animals or mistreat them. While she does not normally have a hard time curbing her temper, when someone hurts an animal she is just unable to keep her anger in check and often lashes out, verbally, at the offender.
History
Sari was born and raised in the Windrain Pavilion to by her loving father and mother. Her father, Jech was the Ankal's younger brother and was in charge of caring for the Pavilions horses and training the young ones in the proper care of them as well as teaching promising young Drykas more advanced things, like the animal husbandry aspect of the horsemanship he taught.
Sari's mother was Drykas woman from the Opal Clan who married into the Pavilion, and the Amethyst Clan. She had a love for animals and a knack for healing with her knowledge of medicinal herbs and pressure points. She taught Sari about the basics of medicine and how to apply it to horses, as she had developed the skill for after years of helping her husband with foaling and having to step in when the horses became ill.
Overall Sari was raised with a thirst for knowledge that was constantly fufilled. Both her parents imparted to her as much of their skill set as they could and when she turned sixteen it was no surprise she began helping them in the care and raising of the horses of the Pavilion and then a Strider chose her as their rider. Sari and Poppy, a spunky mare, become very close very fast and it was with Poppy Sari got to go visit the other Pavilions in the Amethyst Clan as well as go with her own Pavilion down to Riverfall to trade with the people there.
The city enchanted her. She had never seen a stationary city so beautiful and with such exotic people. Humans with eyes the color of the sea who could swim and sail with ease came from the docks, and large blue and green and purple men walked around the city with small pale women and so many other odd looking people. Ever since visiting there to bring trade goods, Sari has wished to go back and try her hand at living in a large city with many other people, none of whom she was related to, or even knew!
After spending the last three years helping her father with the care of their Striders, Sari began to feel a sense of Wanderlust and her mother began to prod her to go visit other Pavilions, or even Clans, to find a husband. While she is not terribly concerned about her biological clock just yet, she did take the opportunity to leave home, but instead of going to the other Pavilions to find a suitable husband, she went straight to Riverfall, hoping to find something for herself there.
