Physical Description
Gryhm has shoulder length white hair and blue eyes, his build is broad and robust body building has made him a mountain of muscle the most prominent trait of the bear that has passed onto his human form is that of strength. He stands a staggering six foot eight inches. His arms and chest carry scars long past of bite marks and raking streaks from wild flailing claws. He also has an uncanny sense of smell.
Animal Description
Large for a dire polar bear by even by telderian standards, he is a monstrous beast thanks to body building. Giant claws long as daggers, and a fearsome maw. His form carries the burden of vicious animal attacks.
Character Concept
Strong and imposing he often finds himself alone, there is a deep seeded desire to bond but this fringes upon trying to force or dominate a potential candidate in frenzied excitement, control is what he seeks as he is driven and motivated by fear of losing another bond mate. His animal side is clearly in control and makes him pragmatic at times. He is loyal and desires nothing more then to bond, however since an accident there have been stipulations and rumors abound about him because of his behavior while hersay it makes people from weary to unwilling to bond. His previous bond mate taught him physical magic, how to fight with his hands and how to use the physical labor of the iceglaze hold to body build. Never a sophisticated builder he is almost always tasked moving icestone blocks and materials from one destination to another doing the hard work the hard way has its benefits. It was those ideals that aspired him to what he is now, although a piece to him is missing someone that knows how to lead and handle his behavior problems.
History
Once a full member of the ice watch he recently lost his bond mate, a routine patrol that ended in hectic disaster. They'd been attacked by a dire wolf pack, he was ordered back to stand guard over a few others as his bond mate jumped into the fray. It was a losing battle, and Gryhm pushed forward and advanced recklessly trying to save him, in doing so he had left the rest of the party weakened to the point of being wiped out by a flanking ambush. He was strong enough to thwart attempts on himself and skilled enough with tooth and claw to stay out of Diras grasp but when the carnage settled and the pack retired; it was just him all alone amongst blood stained snow and mangled corpses. Although still a member he has been demoted to an apprentice, and while respected there are still hushed whispers some say he fled, others that the deed was done by his hands there are as many speculations as there are vantha to weave a story.
