Character History

She was the most beautiful thing her mother had ever seen. Lilith was born to a Myrian woman and human man, and though she was unplanned, she was her mother’s little gem. A soft smattering of black curls littered the top of the baby’s head. Though splotchy from birth, she bore a true likeness to her Myrian heritage, with olive skin and dark eyes. With but a single look, one would know who Lilith’s mother was. Days after being born, her mother fostered an infection that led her slowly to her death. This left her to be raised by her father, who named after his own late mother, Lily Hemlock.

Lilith’s father traveled about, selling his leather and beadwork. He was a quiet man, polar opposite of Lilith’s mother, who was boisterous and proud. Trekking along behind her father, Lilith grew into a strong likeness of her Myrian mother. Her black curls grew long, fading only slightly, into a rich chocolate brown. Her eyes developed a murky, smoky hazel shade with amber speckles. Her olive skin was naturally tanned and became even more so when traveling out in the sun. Using her mother’s spear, she learned to track and hunt, and the constant activity kept her body in lean condition.

At a young age, Lilith became more and more inquisitive of her upbringing. Repeatedly battering her father for information, it was as if she took the pieces she learned and fitted them unto herself. She matured into a young woman obsessed with the upbringing she had be deprived. Time brought her to nearly resent her father for not saving her so that her mother may be around to bring her up herself. She was half-Myrian, and she wanted to be Myrian. She twisted and braided and bound her hair back from her face to show off her high, prominent cheekbones. Using what she could find as tools and decoration, she had pierced her own ears and septum, but what she had really always wanted was to be tattooed. Anything and everything Myrian, she wanted it. She wanted there to be no mistake of her heritage.

Her father, on the other hand, grew increasingly more and more concerned with his little girl’s transformation. He often found himself arguing with and scolding her. With each and every confrontation, Lilith became more alienated.

At the age of nineteen, Lilith left her father and his senseless wandering. She wanted to make a name for herself and learn to be an adult on her own without being babied. She wanted to raise herself the way she believed her mother would have wanted her to be. Strong, proud, and violent were the attributes that appealed to her. The sight of blood and sound of screams excited her, and she yearned for those things. Unfortunately, outside of Taloba, these things were not entirely accepted in society. Perhaps there were other places that welcomed her kind. She would have to find them to be sure, but the likelihood seemed, well, unlikely.

By the time Lilith found herself in Ravok, she had nearly driven herself to insanity. Her overwhelming desire to be a Myrian had almost begun to plague her. At night she dreamed of the ripping of flesh, the burning of bodies, the spilling of blood. She played with leather and made small bands for her belongings and hair and body, taking what little she had learned from her father and putting it to good use. She found that many of the people of Ravok revered her with a worried glance, sometimes even a scowl.

This place was hell, but she would have to be patient and prepare herself. Lilith wanted to return to Taloba. And Lilith would have her way.

Hello Lilith!

I noticed a few problems with your CS that need changing. You will need to fix these up before you can continue posting.

- You mention a lot of travelling in your history. However, to support that, you’d need Wilderness Survival as a skill, preferably at least 10.
- You start with 100gm! You have this added to your possessions, but not your ledger. Please do so.

Once you’ve fixed this all up, PM me, and I can remove the intervention.

Thanks!
