When Aselia broke the silence after her story, there was a soft laugh from the doorway. "I'd forgotten how beautiful some of the Konti tales are," said a woman's voice, heavily accented. Before them stood a willowy woman wrapped in white silks, the brightness of the cloth setting off the rich copper tones of her skin. Sheets of silken black hair fell pin-straight to her waist, but the most striking thing was her eyes - pitch black beneath her lids, utterly colorless, lacking even the whites. "You must be Aselia," she said with a sultry smile, directed at the pale girl. "A pleasure to meet you. I am Nilichoa of the Tatsuwaat, I, and am here to inspect this man's wounds." She turned that smile to Rythern as she crossed the room, laying a gentle finger to his shoulder and turning her attention to it for a moment. There was a moment of pain as she examined it, but not much more than when he'd had the bandages removed. "Ah, yes. You will need a few stitches, you, but it should not give you much trouble. You will have to return to have them cut," she added, going to one of the shelves to retrieve the needle and thread, and a jar of numbing cream. A glance was thrown over her shoulder, and the winsome smile returned. "Please, do not stop your tales for me. I believe you owe her something of the Vantha, yes?" she chuckled.
