Timestamp: 3th of Fall 510 AV It was time once again to hunt, Kita's growling stomach was proof enough of that. With fall starting it was just a matter of time before prey would become scarce and hard to find. Kita loved hunting, almost as much as archery, and she was going to miss it when Morwen covered the world in her icy blanket of snow. All of the animals would hide in their burrows or fly to warmer climates leaving the mountains lonely and vacant. Hunting, if it was to be done at all, had to be done for the most part in the warmer weather. Clothing flew off of Kita as fast as she could pull it off. She could not wait to be running through the woods in her true form, her bright red fur rushing in the wind. Once Kita was naked and had packed her clothing away she transformed. Once she was a fox she felt so free. She breathed in the smells of the forest and flicked her tail playfully. Suddenly a rabbit dashed out of the bushes and Kita was in pursuit. She felt so alive! As the rabbit tried to out run her she pushed herself harder making her black paws pump at the ground. Soon the rabbit was in pouncing range and Kita jumped. Her heart raced in the exhilaration of the hunt. Her paws hit the rabbit hard and she was on top of the poor creature. With a flick of her tail she chomped down on the rabbit's neck. She shook it until she heard the neck snap. The hunt was successful and now it was time to dine. |
