Tensions soothed, eating of the massive snakes commenced. Scouting parties were sent out to make sure no more Dhani were around, a few staying at the funeral pyres, others skinning the massive snakes by torchlight and collecting the meat for drying and taking upon the trek to come. Another couple bells passed and exhaustion seemed to hit the Myrian camp in a wave. One by one Oryani's saviors began finding places on the ground to sleep. Very few of them utilized bedrolls, most using tree roots or their packs as pillows and simply finding a clear spot of ground for their bed.
Hyluck sat with the Chaktawe, a respectful distance away in silence, worrying a bit of Dhani meat. He would watch her. Despite the fact she didn't seem a threat of any kind, Myrians knew better than to trust barbarians...
